    We take for granted the functions our washing machine does regarding filling and emptying. The bottom of the unit basically creates a vortex that I suppose is supposed to be the way items are clean? Then the soapy water has to be emptied, the items have to be run out by hand, and then Clearwater has to be added to the tub for another cycle. Then again the water is emptied and the items hand wrong. I bought this to go on a boat and realize, it was not a well thought out idea

    This thing is not as compact as you think it is based on the photos. The machine collapses, but the photos don't show the base of the machine which is almost as thick as the top rim extending below. I thought the machine collapsed to the width of the top rim of the machine. The machine only has a 3 options, 3-5-10 minutes which essentially spins your clothes one direction, then switches direction after a few seconds. What it doesn't describe, is that you need to drain the water after the cycle and depending on your needs, you will have to refill the machine to do each rinse cycle. Afterward, the spin cycle is horrible. If you place anything in the tiny little basket (not big enough for much), it spins but is very unstable. You have to hold the machine while spinning. You'd be better off washing your clothes in the sink and then hanging them to dry.
