    I had to replace my refrigerator (with Ice maker) recently... with a smaller refrigerator... NO ice maker...
    I bought this so I could make ice, not only for home but on the road with my travel trailer...
    So far it has worked great... I can't make 3 big bags of ice in an evening...
    Would recommend this countertop ice maker...

    The ice maker on my frig quit this is a good substitute. However, the ice is 'soft', has lots of air and the cubes are small so they melt quicker, but I do like the machine. I can now make ice as needed and I feel this form of ice making is cleaner as I can clean the machine when desired rather than water standing in tubing over the years that can ultimately allow bacteria to grow. I will no longer buy refrigerators with water dispensers for that very reason.

    Our refrigerators ice maker broke so we needed something else. This little cutie works like a champ. The only issue I have, is that the ice that's made starts to melt before we get it to the freezer. Even with this one flaw, I'd buy it again.

    Great fast option for camping if you have electric hookup or a generator while boondocking. Creates a lot of ice fast, you can get about 1/2 Gal. of water in it and you have to empty ice bucket a few times before you refill.

    My last icemaker died, so I bought this on to replace it. Its quieter and quicker than my old one. I love the color. It brightens my kitchen. This one is small, lightweight, and I will use it daily, year round. I can recommend this icemaker to anyone. Dont let the price make you think it wont work as well as its more expensive competition. It does the same job for less money, and Im happy I bought it. Ill buy another without reservation.

    I like the size and simplicity of this ice maker, but I guess I should have waited and spent a little more on another model. The ice almost immediately starts to melt before another bunch of ice is made. You get what you pay for, as my husband always tells me.
