    The main reason I purchased the cover was to protect my expenses ICECO from getting scratched. It fit perfectly and doesn’t take away from the Iceco’s stylish looks.
    I don’t know if there is a way to qualify it’s insulated properties but I’m sure it is doing just that. As far as the noise level difference with it on or off I can’t really tell. The refrigerator itself is remarkably quiet and used it in my van for a camping trip laying right next to it it never once disturbed my sleep. and the funny thing is when I showed up camper of mine my refrigerator they were so excited about the cover they are going to purchase it when she gets her Iceco.

    This is really a nice quality cover albeit a bit on the pricey side. I wanted something that would protect the cooler from scratches and other blemishes while also keeping sun off the cooler if used in a sunny area. It is apparent that great attention to detail was used when they designed this cover. Features backing this up are:
    1) the quality materials used,
    2) cutouts on the bottom of the cover so that the rubber feet on the bottom of the cooler can keep it from sliding
    3) mesh for the vented areas surrounding the compressor
    4) cutout for the touchpanel controls
    5) D-rings at each of the four corners of the cooler. I thought that this was a nice touch as otherwise there is not an easy way to tie down this cooler
    These coolers with Danfoss/Secop compressor last a long time and can be used year round. So I think it is worth it to keep the cooler in good shape. One last thing is that the cover is offered for a slightly lower price on Iceco website if you wanted to save a little bit of money.

    The cover for the GO20 was purchased to further protect the unit from harm when being moved about. The cover seems well made and as one reviewer already noted the cover is a very snug fit. (It will take two people to put this cover on the unit.) The price is a bit steep for what it is and I hope its worth the extra money in providing protection and the additional insulation to keep things cold. Happy thus far with the purchase and I need to take a couple trips to see how it holds up under regular use.

    We used to take a small Yeti ice chest with us on automobile road-trips to keep bottled drinks and yogurt cold and frozen green beans cold. The yogurt provides a probiotic for our Labrador Retriever, and is mixed with her kibble twice a day. She gets frozen green beans as a “ filler” to keep her weight under control, that is it makes her feel full without adding the calories of additional kibble. The green beans would thaw, even with replacing the ice every other day, and handling wet, limp green beans is not my favorite task. This item changed that.

    My wife saw this item on line after doing some research, and we bought one. It has turned out to be one of the best purchases of all time for us. It can run off a 12-volt DC circuit in the car, and it has an adapter that enables it to run off a 120-V AC circuit in a hotel/motel, or anyplace where there is a 120-V AC outlet. Our SUV has a 12-volt DC outlet in the cargo area, making it convenient to plug in the refrigerator/freezer. It has two compartments with a pullout divider between them. With the divider in place, we used one compartment as a small freezer section measuring 4 7/8 in long x 9 1/2 in wide x 9 in deep. The other compartment we used as a larger refrigerator section, which measured 8 in long x 9 1/2 in wide x 9 in deep. Each section has its own independent control. The freezer maintained a 0 deg F temperature, and the refrigerator at 33-34 deg F, which were the temperatures we set on the respective controls. You could remove the divider and operate the entire unit as a refrigerator.

    At a hotel, you can unplug the 12-V DC cord from the car; load the unit on a luggage cart, take it to your room, plug it into the 120-V AC adapter and plug that into a standard wall outlet. The unit chills in fast from room temperature when initially turned on, and when the power is off, the unit kept the green beans frozen from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with the optional cover on) while parked in Glacier National Park during a day hike.
