This thing is great. When you spend $4000 for an induction range you hate the thought of scratching the glass. This gizmo allows full induction cooking with the glass protected. Would buy again if needed.

As a cover to keep things clean, this works well. It is not translucent enough to see controls, though. I can barely see the blue "flames" on my induction cooktop. I purchased this to be able to cook on and keep my cooktop clean, but I can not see the controls. It does allow me to cook with it on.

This fabric is amazing, I use it on my induction stovetop, and I wash it ones a week, it does an amazing job at very high temperatures, it can be washed in the sink or in a dish washer, the only down thing (but not a deal breaker) is to find the exact placement where to put the pots, but I purchased high temperature resistant marker and added dots to the location. Great product and highly recommended.

This mat serves its purpose in that it protects the induction cooktop. However, it’s shipped in a folded state and the creases do not relax out. Therefore, instead of lying neatly on the stove top, there are a series of ridges always across the top of the cooking area
I even tried laying it out in the sun during a warm day.
My other negative observation is that while it can be removed for cleaning, it quickly loses the glossy appearance and has a dull surface appearance.

It's rather thick and unless the markings in your stove align perfectly with the fiber inside the mat, you can't see anything... Have to flip it up to see, where to place the pot

I ordered this mat as a cover for my electric stove, to keep it clean and extend my counter workspace. This silicone mat is sized as advertized. I wanted more neutral colors and the black and white fit the bill. The pattern is as expected, except for one area where the finish is smeared. Since my stovetop is black, I'm not concerned but I am knocking off one star due for the lack of crispness in the finish of the product. This will also be used as a pastry mat to roll out pie and cookie dough. I will not use it as baking mat because I don't want it to get discolored by the oven. I think this will serve my purposes well.
