Purchased this gas range set up for my basement kitchen and it is functional, barely. The issues:
1. The broiler is worthless. There is one bat in the middle of the oven and you must move your pan around ever 1 - 2 minutes to achieve anything close to a browned item without burning it.
2. There is NO BURNER THAT SIMMERS. Even after adjusting each burner you CANNOT achieve a simmer.
3. The oven temperature is off by 30-50 degrees and CANNOT BE CORRECTED WITH ANY ADJUSTMENT.
4. Substantial dent in back panel. Called the company three times with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE!
5. Heat lamp on the right will not screw into the socket correctly. The socket will accept a regular light bulb but for some odd reason the heat lamp bulb will not work in the socket (yes, the bulb works in other sockets so it is not broken or burnt out)
Since it was going in my basement kitchen I have tried to move on although it is so irritating when companies will not even assist you after you’ve put faith in their product and paid their asking price. In my opinion these companies should be put out of business by consumers. If we can manage that in time we might be left with some quality or at least companies who take their customers to heart!
