As the title of this review says: These really work. I broke the cord of my previous mini washing machine, so I ordered this as a replacement.
Here are some tips/tricks to get the best performance. First, use a strong power adapter. This mighty machine draws a lot of power. The motor spins for 20 seconds in one direction, then reverses direction for 20 seconds. I use a 2A power adapter, and it works great.
Second, this machine works great in tall rectangular buckets, like the kind that kitty litter is sold in. This particular mini washing machine came with a large 7-Suction-Cup base as advertised. Other models sometimes come with just 3 individual cups. This base is STRONG and holds tightly to the side of smooth buckets. That’s right: It works best on the SIDE of the bucket. Putting it on the bottom just creates a giant whirlpool and doesn’t “slosh” the water around enough to effectively clean.
I use mine for washing delicate clothing in mild detergent. It’s a great tool for small loads without wasting lots of water.
