I wasn't expecting much from this ice maker as it is a small countertop model, but... WOW!!! I was both surprised and impressed at this little machine... it can definitely crank out some ice!!! I let the basket get full, and then I dump it into a container in my chest freezer. A do this for several hours until that container is full. It is so simple to use, easy to clean, takes up very little space, and to me, it is pretty quiet. I've seen other reviews that said it was very noisy... well, I'm sorry they got a noisy one... mine is pretty quiet. In fact, sometimes I check it just to make sure it is still working. No problems yet, and I've been using this thing daily since I received it (I go through a LOT of ice here in the summertime).
