Makes Ice good! This unit is very handy to have, especially if your family goes through a lot of ice! makes it fairly quickly, features 2 ice sizes. At first I felt that the basket was a bit small, and actually, I do prefer if it would be larger, but as a family of 3 who are using it a lot, it is still working out for us.
If the basket were bigger, it would hold more ice; However, the unit has a quick response time, so fresh ice is being made continually as you use it. We use filtered water, and try to clean it once a week. It also features an auto clean mode, which I sometimes use. We are pleased with the purchase.
