I like this little portable cooktop/hotplate. It reminds me of the old hotplates from when I lived in tiny places that didn't have a stove, except this is way nicer than those okd ones I had. It's radiant heat, so you're not limited to certain materials like the induction burners. It's not the smallest or lightest hot plate, but it feels more sturdy and durable than most. It's easy to clean. It has a good range of power/temperature settings. This is easy to set up and use. In addition to this, I have a portable gas burner, portable grill, and portable induction burner. This is a nice addition to the portable burners arsenal. It's still not as truly off the grid or versatile as the stuff that don't use electricity, but if you do have an electrical hookup somewhere, this is a good portable/mobile cooker. On top of everything, this is also quite cheap while still being functional.
