This is a beautiful cooktop with a very hot center burner. Great for boiling large pots of water or stir frying. I just use common sense for the application. I choose burner by what size pan I am using. And adjust the heat for the purpose. I use good cookware (All-Clad, & cast iron). so far I have not needed to set the heat any higher than third dot from low. One observation I will make has to do with the heat conduction from the thin cast iron grates. Since there is not enough mass to cool when used, the front of the cook top will get warm/hot. Just keep in mind when using and not get alarmed if you rest your hand on the surface.

Installation.
I had no real issues with the install other than having to purchase a 5/8 male adaptor for the pressure regulator output line. I did not need any special tools. Just Pipe thread tape and a wrench

Cleaning.
The stainless top is a bit tricky to keep clean, but again common sense will dictate that if you use this regularly, it will require some elbow grease. Follow the recommended cleaner "Bar Keepers Friend"
The biggest issue for me is where to place the grates as I am cleaning the burner area.

Overall Bang for Buck.
This was an upgrade from a 23yr old Jen-air cook top. Well worth the price paid.
Also the seller kept me in the loop for questions including assisting me with solving an issue that I had with one of the parts that was damaged from shipping. (The issue was not a functional issue).

So to make a long story short. Yes I would buy again and I would reach out to Tanner Appliance for first quote.

It’s officially been one year since we bought this beauty and I couldn’t be happier- we get compliments on it all the time. This is great cooktop without all the bells and whistles of everything that’s out there. Great to cook on and a breeze to clean up. Installation was a fairly easy, just make sure and double check your measurements.

This was very easy to install. All I needed to do was to buy a flexible gas line kit and it went in very easily.

First, this was replacing an old 30" cooktop so I had to enlarge the opening. Using my framing square and a sharpie with a jigsaw made quick work of that.

Then I had to convert it to propane and that was easy with the included kit. I just had to replace the burner orifices but that was super simple and straightforward with a 1/4" socket set. All I needed was a 7mm and a 3/16" socket to remove the burner and orifice. The orifices come stuck in a card showing their position on the stove and the orifices are also color coded to further aide in identification and installation. Just put a piece of double sided tape on your socket to aide in installing the orifices..

So once the opening was enlarged and the conversion done, it was time to hook it up. The range comes with a regulator. It just screws onto the stub tube in the range. I just applied pipe dope to the stub and screwed the regulator on. It's got an arrow to indicate gas flow. Very easy.

The inlet of the regulator is 1/2" FIP (female pipe thread). I bought a flex hose install kit and it had a 1/2" male pipe thread adapter that screwed right into the regulator and the hose screwed onto it. I just connected the other end of the hose to my gas supply valve and I was done after a quick leak check. The cooktop has a power cord for the igniter.

The the cast iron grates are heavy and stay put. I love the continuous surface with all three grates installed. The included griddle is also heavy cat iron.

This range feels and looks great. Overall, I am very pleased with how it turned out.

This is a great range top. Top quality and professional looking. Replaced a previous 5 burner top with this one and for them being the exact same size, the layout of this one gives more room for cooking. Would definitely recommend it

Love the cooktop. We have it on an island. I did not give five stars as the simmer isn't quite as low as I would like. Lastly it is easy to scratch. I have not sought the recommended cleaner. I see this as a tool and it works excellent. I was a restaurant chef and wanted to be able to salute and deglaze and know I had enough BTU. This has been a great tool for me. For the price is is perfect.

It's a beautiful stovetop and was easy to install. Supplied with everything I needed. Generally works very well.

Just two things that I'd want to improve (that didn't occur to me before buying):
1.) There's no LED that indicates that any of the burners are on. Because the black caps over the burners can somewhat conceal flame that is set on low simmer, it's easy to inadvertently leave a burner on.
2.) Although part of what makes this look like a high-end unit is the profile when standing a few feet away from it, the iron grates are maybe 3/8" too high above the burners. I suspect some heat is lost due to that. While the center burner puts out a lot of BTUs, the spread of the flame on that burner is quite wide so not ideal for heating a small-to-mid-width pan or pot, for example.

Having stated the foregoing, I think it's a good value.

We bought this at the end of the year, and we’re really glad we did! It’s extremely high quality, easy to install, and works like a much higher-priced cooktop.

If you’re considering buying a gas cooktop, we highly recommend this one. The price today is about $500 more than it was when we bought ours. Probably due to the “OMG THEY’RE GOING TO TAKE AWAY MY GAS STOVE” hysteria. Still a deal at this price.

This range is gorgeous and cooks great. But the far right burners are mis labeled as you can see in the attached video. Very disappointing
