I bought this oven in 2022. From day one it showed up damaged. They offered me a discount or replacement, I was without any way to cook so I took the discount they did that quickly so I'll give the that. I should have tried to cook something before making that decision, because it didn't bake over 250 degrees. It took at least 9 months to get a repair person here and fronting close to $900 witch I'm still fighting to get reimbursed very frustrating process. The repair man said that every magic chef stove is notorious for problems.

We've had this unit for two years. Two elements have burned out (we use it rarely, and not excessively by any stretch) in under two years. The kitchen has new wiring, so it's not as though it's shorting out. Replacement elements are backed by neither the seller nor the manufactuer, so replacing poorly made/and or poorly installed parts will be your own liability.
It looks good, but obviously that's secondary to its unreliability.

Oven appeared well made and was very heavy duty. Unfortunately, it had sustained significant damage at some point, although the packaging looked good. The sides were bowed and the screws had popped out along both sides of the front of the oven.

Lastly, this stove would not have worked in my limited space anyway because there is no cutout in the back to allow for a wall mounted plug.

So far it works. I haven't use it enough to give a good review. I found that the bottom wants to burn. I have to put on top shelf then move to middle shelf. I use the pastry setting a lot, I like the way it blows heat around. The top will get done too. It's better than my last one, which only lasted 3 yrs. It was an Avanti and a piece of ????. And it's nice looking.

Unit arrived with damage to both sides and rear, the hob top was loose and only had 4 small screws at the rear stopping it from completely coming off. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’d been waiting for ever to get this I would have sent it back, kitchen remodel needed to be finished so I repaired it myself and cabinets hid imperfections.
No damage to packaging so I can only surmise that it was packed like this.

New stove installed last summer (2023). Oven did not work. In September the repairman installed a new thermostat. Still did not work. He called Magic Chef back East. Was told he needed to order two more parts. He did so. One part that was sent was the wrong one. He ordered again and installed it. Now the oven gets so hot it burns the top of items. There is only a heating element on top of the oven, not one on bottom too. We are still trying to get reimbursed for price of parts and repairs. It's mid-February 2024. Unit under warranty. Oh. The stove works okay.

The range is good and works fine. It is sturdy enough. Good enough for my small kitchen.
