I use this on my convection stove in my camper van. Space is very limited, so by covering the stove top I have more space to work and lay items, while also protecting the stove’s surface. Game changer!

The false advertisement on this product is unreal. I was totally disappointed.
It stuck to my stove top and smoked. The mat was left with burn marks. Not worth buying

Needs to be about 5cm wider and the corners rounded with like a 3cm radius. There's a pretty big gap in either side of the may and if it were wider would need rounded corners to fit.

Also, doesn't do much for accidental should that will get in underneath.

It does a decent job of protecting an induction cooktop surface while still being able to use it.

I love that it protects my stovetop and most of all, I LOVE that I can cook on top of it! I didn't want to cut it where my controls were, but I finally broke down and did it, but saved the strip and lay it on that place when I'm not using it. Can't use a dry rag to wipe the mat, because it will stick, but a wet rag will slide right over it. Pots and pans stay put when on the mat.

YOU CAN ONLY USE THIS MAT TO COOK ON FOR AN INDUCTION STOVETOP! You can use it to protect your glass stovetop, but you cannot cook on it unless it's an induction stovetop only. USED on ANY other stovetop will result in a terrible mess that you will not like!! INDUCTION ONLY to cook on.

I bought it to replace my old one, that got a yellow spot because of the temperature. And it was very ugly looking due to white color of the mat. This one has plaid pattern and so far I don’t see any discolorations. I didn’t want solid color so any spot will be more visible

I recently went all electric & am learning about induction cooking (which is awesome!) This cover makes me feel better about handling pots & pans over a glass surface, & barely slows the induction process (I timed it with & without), but it needs to be trimmed (easily done) to fit my range and also needs to have the individual burners marked, which was time consuming. I used a sharpie to mark the burners, but they need to be refreshed often. I also tried some pads that you put directly over the burners; they look nice & work well but don't protect the glass between the burners. I tried both products together, but it slowed the induction down too much.
Cleanup is generally a snap, but there are a couple of unsightly marks from where I let water boil over & get between the pad and the glass. No big, I'll just flip the whole pad over & start new some day.

First, they are from China and the instructions are so lame, I don’t even know what the heck it says. They don’t tell you what all the stickers are for and o certainly wouldn’t put them on my induction cooktops. The size is too big. They are cheap.
