5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful wine fridge with great service

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy to set up. Very nice appearance and aesthetic. The handle was poorly protected during shipment so it had some scuffs and after contacting customer service they sent a new one. Highly recommend!

The only thing, it’s nearly impossible to fit bottles on the highest shelf. Not sure what we’re doing wrong

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice unit, high energy use
Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2024
This is our third wine fridge of this size in 20 years. These small under counter units don’t seem built to last and they cost too much to repair, so we just replace them.

This one is as nice as the others: pretty finish, bright white light inside so you can see the bottles, clear displays, rickety but sufficient shelves. This fridge cools nicely and really does seem to keep the two sections of the refrigerator at different temperatures.

The packaging was exceptional, really kept the unit safe. We paid a little extra for the Amazon delivery drivers to bring it into the front doorway rather than just leaving it outside and that was well worth it. Too bad Amazon did not offer a “haul away“ service to take the old unit, we’ll have to go to the dump on our own.

My one criticism is that this is not a low energy device. We have solar panels so I have an app to show the household energy consumption at any given moment. When this wine cooler kicks in, there is a marked spike, about 50% of what the air conditioner consumes. By contrast, when our two energy efficient refrigerators kick in I can’t even tell that they are running, their energy draw is so low. You can get this refrigerator at a good price, but be prepared for your electric bill to noticeably rise. In my case, I need a little extra sunshine ????.

I chose this one over the other comparable units at Amazon simply because it has a short warranty. Most of the others don’t list any warranty period.

5.0 out of 5 stars overall a good product

Im satisfied with it after one year from purchase. Only complaint is the space being tight. Especially for champagne, only one row has enough height to fit a fat champagne bottle(750ml).

1.0 out of 5 stars Shelves are horrible

Not enough space between shelves. They get hung up on bottles in shelves above and below. Shelves feel cheap not on rollers. Wood is directly contacting unit and do not open or close smoothly. Unit is loud.

This is a quiet, great looking wine cooler! It's not too large and holds just the right amount of wines!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well, with a few issues

I'm pleased with this, it works well and has two different temperature zones so reds and whites have their own temps. Just a couple notes: there's not a ton of space, so the bottles are a bit tight in there, and the racks can be difficult to slide out. But in general it's a very good unit, works well and looks very nice in our bar setup.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Bar Fridge
Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2023
I've been looking for the right bar refrigerator for about five years. A typical wine chiller wouldn't get my beer and sodas cold enough. A fridge was not set up with a dual zone for wine at cellar temperature. This refrigerator checked all the boxes for me. It is the standard size for a built-in appliance. It is exactly the size of our dishwasher and looks identical except for having two handles on the front instead of one. The exterior of the refrigerator is high-quality stainless. The packing and shipping for this fridge were very good -- there weren't any dents or dings.

This is a heavy unit, just over 100 pounds. Two Amazon guys delivered it on a dolly, and I needed a dolly to move it into the house and position it. Once unpacked, I plugged it in, set the upper and lower compartment temperature, and it began to chill. I'm a tech nerd, so I measured energy consumption. During the initial chill-down, it drew a constant 85 watts. Once cooled, the compressor cycles on and off intermittently. When running, it consumes about 48 watts. Also, if you're interested, there's a DC plug on the back of the unit. When plugged into my power bank, it drew 42-43 watts on 12 VDC. This is very low energy consumption for a unit this size. A small 'dorm fridge' used by my daughter draws 85 watts and has a much smaller capacity. The first time I plugged this in, the lights came on, but I thought it was defective -- I couldn't hear anything. So I got on my knees, put my ear up to the back of the unit, and heard it. This is a VERY quiet refrigerator.

I've included pictures of the top and bottom shelves as they are loaded. The description stated a bottle capacity of 20 wine bottles, but the most I've been able to load is 18 bottles. I have room to add a bottle on the upper right-hand side in the pictures. However, the temperature selector's location makes that shelf area behind it 'Dead Space.' I've used this fridge for a party. The bottom was filled with sodas, and I put one standard-size bottle (750 ml) in there. As you can see, there's plenty of room for 750 ml bottles to stand on the bottom shelf. There is plenty of height to accommodate sparkling wine bottles, which are slightly taller.

I keep the temperature set to the lowest possible selections -- 50 F on the top compartment and 33F on the bottom. That keeps the beverages at the temp I prefer. The beer and Topo Chicos are 33 degrees, and the Bordeaux up top stays at about 52.

I've researched the manufacturer and learned they have a history of commercial refrigeration devices. That gives me confidence about getting service and parts should they ever be needed. This will last many years before I think about it; it has all the characteristics of a high-end quality product. The compressor is very quiet. The drawers seem substantial and sturdy; they slide easily and have a very satisfying 'closed' sound when they shut. I don't mean it has a signal or anything; it's the sound made when a substantial and well-fitting drawer is closed.

This refrigerator is perfect for me. I (the Guy) get the bar fridge for ME. No butter, eggs, etc., in MY fridge. This one is perfect for Adult Beverages. The Wife and I have a gazebo out back. I plan to order another one to replace the refrigerator we have in place there. We'll have to decide which of us will claim that refrigerator.
