Have had LG dishwasher bought new 4 years a go. It was the prior generation to current LGs. It cleans dishes OK & isn't very loud (but louder than & doesn't clean as well as our prior Maytag). Issue is, it not a well built appliance. It started leaking from a loose clamp (I fixed) shortly after install. The clips that hold up the folding rack tines broke w/in 6 months. The rack itself is rusted thru & we smelled something burning & its the dishwasher motor (it tripped the circuit breaker which is good). Labor to replace the warranted motor is appx $250.
Not worth the investment to fix. This thing is going in the trash. Repair guy says he does a lot of LG appliance calls. Had good luck w LG TVs but the appliances are not very good.
