    This is a small, inexpensive part but was a pain to replace. There are several YouTube videos but none was 100% complete. I ended up breaking a tab because they said it was too stiff to use fingers and recommended using screwdrivers. Luckily our fridge has 2 plastic tabs and the remaining one holds everything in place.

    The part does the job, saved us a visit from an appliance repair and everything is working in the fridge again.

    My refrigerator was freezing my food/drinks. Apparently there are two thermometers. I replaced the other one & the problem persisted. Once I put this one in, my refrigerator began working properly again.

    I didn’t have to watch any videos on how to install it. It was pretty easy.

    This part was exactly what I needed when my fridge reported the fridge temp was 80 degrees and started freezing stuff. It was a little bit more than I expected to get to the sensor but not difficult. Pop the shelves and drawers out, unscrew the back panel, unplug the defrost fan and sensor. Unscrew the defrost fan metal panel. you'll need to cut a slit in the foam at the top of the panel where the wire goes through, then pry apart the plastic front of the panel from the back foam. there's a sticky foam layer at the top. youtube videos show slicing it at the part line between the plastic and foam but you can just lift it off of the plastic and pry them apart. then swap the sensor out, optionally taping with masking tape like samsung did. then put it all back together.

    Buen producto y barato , Samsung refrigerador me congelaba todo , el display me marcaba 80 grados farenheit después de que instale el temperature sensor todo me funcionó muy bien , ahora me da la temperatura que yo predetermine 35 grados Fahrenheit y ya no me congela el fridge, estoy happy con la compra .

    I originally ordered the item from this seller because it was fast delivery and my refrigerator was freezing all the food solid. It was delayed and late. Then when I got it, it was about 4 inches shorter than the stock one I pulled out of the fridge, making it slightly more difficult to plug in once installed.

    It did work though.
