    PRO:
    Quick and easy to install
    Configurable with an intuitive interface--I didn't have to read instructions to figure it out
    Comes with all necessary hardware/mounting equipment

    CON:
    There are a bunch of voice options you have to scroll through before you finally get to 1 choice of chime. I don't want any voice options. I would have preferred different chime-style alerts to choose from, but at least there's one
    The sticker on the back mounts on the battery door. When it's time to change the battery, you have to pull the door off while it is still stuck to the fridge, which is a bit awkward. Would have been much better if this was Velcro
    Alarm could be louder. I have this on my freezer in the basement. I can't hear it upstairs unless the house is fairly quiet. I have a bunch of kids, so the freezer is liable to be left ajar at unpredictable times and the house is not often quiet.

    IMPROVEMENTS
    Instead of (or in addition to) a chime, I would LOVE to have it send me a push notification to my phone.

    I found it very easy to install this. It was pretty nice to see how many alert settings it had along with how many levels of sound and times delay settings it had. You can use this for sooo many more things than just your freezer door. That being said, it can install on the freezer door with that gap the door seal makes without any issue. Well worth the money even if you just want a door alarm.

    PROS:
    1. Volume control button
    2. Toggle through many choices of alarms - voice announcements, a regular doorbell and a tinkling shop bell.
    3. Three time settings - 10 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds
    4. Spacing between the 2 pieces works perfectly when one piece is adhered to the edge of the freezer and the 2nd piece to the edge of the door.
    5. Can be used for various items you want an alarm on, with appropriate voice alarm announcement. Front door, a window, air conditioner is on remember to close the door reminder, etc.

    CONS:
    1. Sticks out quite a ways
    2. No true "alarm" sound . A tinkling bell is not going to sound important! The voice announcements may scare the crap out of me when letting our dogs out in the middle of the night!!!

    Hoping this will work for our needs. The standing freezer is out of the way so having the alarm sticking out won't be an issue. My husband is a Forensic Agronomist and the freezer is filled with farm samples - dirt, produce, orchard blossoms, cuttings, etc, so losing something due to the freezer not getting shut all the way is not an option. If this doesn't work, we will go with a spendy Bluetooth unit.

    You can set the reminder to chirp after 60, 30, 10, or even 0 seconds if you’re feeling extra cautious—or just enjoy being bossed around by your appliances. It’s surprisingly effective, and it’s already saved my ice cream stash from doom more than once. Plus, the voice reminders are pretty straightforward—nothing obnoxious, just a friendly nudge that says, "Hey, close that door!"

    For $30, I’d say it’s a reasonable price to pay for not having to throw out a bunch of melted frozen dinners. I knocked off a star because the alarm tone could be a tad softer on the ears, but overall, this thing is a lifesaver for forgetful folks like me.
