I got this to add to my sort of makeshift kitchen. I have another model from different manufacturer that is very similar to this one. They're the same size and have the same layout with one differing function. This make is equal in quality, if not a little nicer. The knobs have metal accents, making it look more expensive than it is. They turn easily and sort of "click" on each heating level, making it harder to make a mistake and heat the burner more than you want. The burners heat up quickly and work better than my other model in that things like boiling water take less time. The surface does tend to hold onto things, like when I spilled egg onto the burner and it baked on so much I couldn't wipe it away. There is a small scraper that comes with the stovetop that helps with this, but cleaning is an issue. The other issue is that it takes quite a while for the burners to cool down. Unlike other models that have built in cooling fans, this does not. But those are small prices to pay for two extra burners and the stovetop works so well it's hard to complain.
