The knobs are smooth and can turn from off to full in like a small quarter turn.
Need to hold down on the knob to activate igniter and then make sure gas is flowing to ignite. If trying to ignite fast then there can be mistakes where it doesn’t light up.
I needed a pipe thread adapter to get this to fit my gas line because I needed the gas inlet a little smaller.
Kit comes with teflon thread tape but I used the yellow thread seal tape intended to be used on gas appliances.
Kit also comes with a liquid propane jet conversion kit.
The sheet metal construction is a bit on the thin side, but the top is stainless and arrived clean with no dents or fingerprints.
