We haven't wired this in, yet, so I will need to update once it's in place. It has been inspected for dents and all parts, and arrived in great condition with everything noted in the included instructions. This was chosen deliberately to go over a 30" stove, as we love to cook and wanted more room under the hood to work. While higher end homes do this frequently to create an open look, most moderately priced homes come with a 30" range hood or microwave range hood, to match the width of the stove. While it may conserve space in a tight kitchen, it can feel very crowded. This 36" hood adds three inches on either side above the stove, to where the upper cabinets will meet the hood. We will also have a 36" range hood cabinet above. This range hood has a lot of features that appeal: triple filters that are washable plus a charcoal filter, two long life LED lights on both sides of the hood for more lighting, the option to vent or use ventless, and the multi-speed fan. The product sheet claims superior drawing power, which is important. The sleek and simple design is appealing to us, as this kitchen will be well used and we wanted a modern, yet timeless look.
