Having a washing machine on a long-ish camping trip at our off-grid cabin has made all the difference for our family. It means we can pack lighter and not be so concerned about getting dirty. You can’t really wash anything larger than underwear or socks, but having a clean barrier between your dirty outer clothes and your body really makes a huge difference. It still amazes me that this can hold almost 3 gallons of water; yet collapses down to a size that doesn’t create a huge space constraint in our backpacks. It doesn’t create a huge power crunch our on generator either, so I’m so completely happy with this.
