I was a bit concerned when the cooktop was delayed a few days in arriving, but once it arrived, I was delighted. It fit the previous Frigidaire cooktop space perfectly, was easily installed and works wonderfully. The quick boil is awesome, and cleaning up (with the included trial bottle of cooktop cleaner) so far is a breeze. The metal strip along the front looks great. A great replacement cooktop at a very affordable price!

It is a beautiful cook top. I do love the extra feature - quick boil on the front right burner. My other one did not have that.
Very nice price too!

Only small complaint was that when ups delivered it the box it was it was soaked and falling apart. Luckily it was packed with styrofoam and there wasn’t any damage to cook top at all

The seller may need to know this for future reference.

Anyway I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product

I found this on Amazon. The price was great and alot less than what I found on other home improvment stores. Item was shipped in 2 days where as the other stores was at least 10 days, so we were very happy about that. The stove works awesome... Everything heats up super fast. One of best items that I've purchased through amazon. The stove showed all black on the website but came with the stainless steel trim towards the front. I didnt mind... It matched my other appliances and I actually hoped it would come that way. No complaints at all and we are so happy with the purchase. Easy clean up, even around the knobs.

This replaced our original Frigidaire cooktop (2003/4) and like it just as much, more actually as it's easier to clean. All burners heat quickly, are easy to regulate and hold temps at setting chosen. When opened after delivery we saw a very small crinkle on 1 corner of the trim but my husband (very handy:) was able to flatten and it looks fine. Easy installation also a plus.

The cooktop was easy to install and worked well for about a year and a half.
Then one day, as we turned on the quick burner know, heard some sparks below the switch, could see sparks thru the translucent glass. I immediately turned the knob off. I soon started smelling a burning smell from around that knob. I let is rest for sometime, thinking it might be some fluke and then retried some time later. Same observation.I then taped up the switch so no one would turn it on by mistake. I learnt from Frigidaire that the cooktop was out of warranty so they would not be able to help unless I paid $300+ to get it fixed. I have home appliance warranty. They sent a technician, who came in twice but each time, the part ordered would not work. They gave up and finally the warranty company gave up. I now have a choice of fixing for $300 thru Frigidaire or buy a new one. I am not happy with this outcome.

My wife liked this cooktop's style with its stainless steel front trim strip - not pictured, so the "S [Stainless]" is the letter suffix of the FFEC3025US model number. This cooktop replaced a very similar 14 or 15 years old Frigidaire model with the same ceramic top whose main burner would overheat or thermally runaway - thermostatic control failure. Unplug and lift out your old unit, carefully measure the cutout before ordering. Upon arrival, unpack, inspect and test fit initially. Nothing missing or damaged.

Seriously, read the installation instructions. Electrical connections run in an armored conduit and exit as a three-wire pigtail so I simply reused my 220Vac connector and plug-in outlet. The cooktop dimensions are accurate and the spacing brackets were packed adjacent the shipping foam. It wasn't intuitive how they installed until I read the manual; these spacing brackets simply center the unit within the countertop's cutout and keep it from sliding left and right on the countertop surface. A screw for each bracket is included as well as a bottle each of stainless steal and cooktop polish.

After I completed centering and fit checks, I lastly attached to the ceramic underside an adhesive 3M compression sealing foam before lowering onto the countertop. Afterward, I sealed the cooktop perimeter's edge and countertop with black silicone caulk. A contractor might skip those added steps because they aren't included in the instructions. My unit was manufactured in Aug. 2021 and shipped in its OEM box; however, that box's shipping tape arrived failing at top/bottom sides; thankfully, the center-line joint was still taped and intact. Yikes.

The new unit's quick boil burner and and other burners indeed heat faster than what we replaced. Quick boil is achieved by the inner and outer elements both heating on the front right burner; therefore, this single burner is flexible for both larger or smaller diameter cookware. This is not an induction cooktop as the seller's description certainly implied, it is a conduction radiant heating method.

I was already using this same brand so I ordered another one that is the same model and manufacture as the one we already owned. Since we were replacing the countertops, I thought I would order another one of these as the old one is about 10 years old and looks kind of rough. But since I was very happy with it and the price, I ordered the same one again but it showed up totally broken in two different places. It must have been dropped from a great distance to have the glass top cracked completely in two. So I can not tell you how the new one worked but I can tell you that I was pleased with the last one we bought about 10 years ago.

I am so happy with this purchase. Like other reviews have mentioned, it does have a stainless steel strip on the front which is different than the product photos, but I didn't mind. The best part is that the front right burner (that I use the most) has the option to be a small or large burner depending on which way you turn the corresponding knob. This baby heats up FAST. I will update if something goes wrong, but right now I'm super happy. Also this was the best price I found online for the same cooktop as of the time of this review.
