    This cooktop seems to work very eell. It heats up fast and the multi coil burners make it easy to selectors heat for different size pans.
    The only thing that is a little cumbersome is having to select the burner number every time to adjust the heat. Each burner should have its own heat adjustment.

    I absolutely love this Stove Top!! It is beautiful. The quality is outstanding. It was easy to install and easy to use. The clean up is a breeze. I would definitely say that the customer service department is one of the best I have ever contacted. They are top notch and reply quickly. They really seem to care about their customers. I highly recommend this stove top and this company !!!!

    I really like the overall knobless design of this cooktop. It looks good, the burners have a good layout and the controls are easy to use. The timer feature is very handy as well. It was also easy to install if you already have a 220V circuit for it. I used the unit regularly for about 11 months at which point one of the burners would not turn off. I contacted the Ecotouch customer service and they were very quick to respond. They offered a full refund or a replacement with a newer more expensive model. My impression is that the company is trying very hard to improve their products and have excellent customer service. So I decided to go with the newer model that has almost the same design that I like better than any other product I could find. I already installed it and am enjoying my cooktop again. It is pretty rare these days to have this high level of customer service and support for a product.

    I purchased this to replace a Whirlpool cooktop that had a broken glass. This unit was less expensive than just the replacement glass for the Whirlpool cooktop. The Ecotouch cooktop was shorter in both directions than the Whirlpool. The side to side dimensions were acceptable, but the front to back dimension left about 1/4" gap showing and I would have been reluctant to place any heavy pots on this unit because of that. In order to accommodate this cooktop in our existing opening, I fabricated a frame out of 1/8" angle iron, painted it glossy black, and placed it in my existing opening. If you don't have the ability to fabricate this, any local welding shop should be able to make one for you at a reasonable cost. You'll need to bring them the cut out template that is supplied with the cook top and the measurements of your existing opening. Installation is simple. The wiring instructions are very clear. The power cord is hardwired to the cooktop and the junction box. I found that the power cord is longer than I would have liked, but this is because my junction box is within a foot of the opening for the cooktop. The instructions say to not cut the power cord shorter, so I tucked it behind my cabinet supports to ensure it didn't get pinched by the drawers below the cooktop. If the cabinet supports hadn't been there, I would have used adhesive tie wrap anchors and tie wraps to fasten it out of the way. This cooktop heats up quicker than our old cooktop and my wife loves that she doesn't have to clean around, on, and under any knobs. She also loves the timers for each burner.

    It took me longer to remove the old cooktop than it did to install the new one. It works great but it was slightly not as deep as the opening. I took the metal trim off the old one an installed in on the ront of the new one an it worked and looked great.

    Not happy overall with this cooktop! It is fairly easy to clean. Up until tonight I could get it spotless with just soap and water on a sponge and then rinse it off and dry it with a paper towel. But tonight there seems to be something stuck on the left front burner that I can’t get off no matter what, and nothing spilled on it. Maybe it’s because I left the sauté pan on the burner until it cooled off? I thought it would be OK since it’s still had some oil left in the pan.

    The on off button can easily be accidentally pressed when the stove is not locked. So you could be cooking and accidentally press the off button and all your burners are turned off. This is very problematic if you have a large pan on the front right burner, which is near the on off button.

    But the worst part, and the most dangerous part, is that it does not stay locked. I always lock my cooktop before I clean it so I don’t accidentally turn it on (see above paragraph). But it will unlock on its own! In the middle of the day when I was nowhere near the cooktop I kept heard a beep and couldn’t figure out what was beeping until I realized that it beeped because it unlocked itself. This is annoying for me but I don’t have any young children at home. This would be honestly dangerous if I had a young child!

    This is a functional, nice looking, inexpensive and easy to install stove top.
    The small rings are under-powered, and if your hands or the cook top are wet, the controls may not respond.
    Cook on it every day, and it gets the job done.

    We installed to cooktop and it looks fantastic! Love the lock feature. I went to cook on it and was so disappointed, I could barely get water to boil. The burner would not even turn red. I read through other reviews and we did have the wiring incorrect. We had 4 wires and this cooktop only has three. Other reviews stated: The white from the cooktop gets matched with the red from the main wire. The white main extra wire gets capped off. We gave it a whirl - I’m glad we did!! We were running only on 110, wired correctly now it runs on 220 as it was meant to. This cooktop works perfectly! I couldn’t be happier with the looks, price and functionality of this cooktop. Great bargain for the price.
