5.0 out of 5 stars Good and inexpensive

I removed the grill in our RV outside kitchen and installed this stove top instead. It works well and unlike its more expensive competitors, it even has an ignitor. No matches needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Suits my needs, great product for the money

Installed in our "Cabin in the Woods" (Facebook) this stove works great. However a little common sense goes far. It's a small stove which is good for limited space, works great for 2-4 people. If cooking for more than that go for a bigger stove. there have been several complaints in other reviews, but I have experienced only one that was founded. The label started peeling so I pulled it off. I know how to turn on a stove so it's not a big deal. Other than that no problems what so ever. It is what it is, use it accordingly (back to common sense) and it well work fine. I really don't believe you could find a better product for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as designed so far

I’ve cooked two meals so far in the camper and the stove works just fine. Flame height adjustment was adequate and water boils very quickly.
Be careful on installation prior to cutting drop in Hole to check your clearances for the closure of the lid and the propane pipe. Always , check your propane pipe seal with soapy water.

4.0 out of 5 stars After 2 1/2 years of daily use, it still works great!
Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2023
It's narrower than most drop-in propane stove-tops by 6 - 10 inches. The good about that is it takes up less space, but the bad is that 2 pans at once is difficult as shown in the first pic. The sticker with the knob labels was peeling off within a week of use, and after fighting with it for months, I finally relented and ripped it off altogether. The adhesive was far more stubborn, requiring a scraper and Goo-Gone to remove. The biggest problem is in installation, the propane inlet is on the back less than an inch from the base meaning if your counter is thicker than about 1/2 inch, you'll need to gouge away at its underside to get the hose to fit (see second pic). Only other complaint is that it doesn't lay more flush with the counter. As you can see in the pic, the metal frame sticks up an inch, so it's not the prettiest installation. Other than those minor complaints, it works very well. Each burner has a piezo igniter -- almost always lights on the first try on the large burner, on the second try on the small one. And the stove itself has worked flawlessly, and I have used it every day for over 2 1/2 years now in my small custom camper van build. Came with a lid and wind-guard I never used.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed big time
Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2023
First off it cost me a fortune to have it installed then the screws holding it in stripped and when i used it the first time the heat caused it to fly out of the pan it sits in. The installer came back out and reinstalled it with nuts and bolts. He said he should charge me again because it was defective. Then the black paint around the knobs comes off every time I clean it. It is silver now around the knobs. Third, it is so hard to get burners to light. I hate the auto light. It takes at least 5 turns each time and i can’t lower the flame to low cook. My other MC was nothing like this one. So disappointed!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brand New Product At Cheaper Than Used Pricing
Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2023
I appreciate that I can buy this for brand new cheaper than I could find locally from used RV parts places. I noticed that removing my regulator gave a wider flame adjustment, and I did have to fix my wind guard(which is very flimsy). Even though I had to do some minor things I'm really happy I got the product. Everything I've gotten from this brand seems very well made at the price your paying. Also, the stoves built in ignitor works well and doesn't require wiring in :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2021
There was some confusion between the website and the install guide so let me be clear on what size fitting/propane line you will need 3/8 not flared. Easy to use once the right size had been established. The product list that says people purchased these items together are not anything that was useful for the install. If you are putting this in a camper or rv you shouldn't need any other fittings for an install as they should already be 3/8.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value, Great Look
Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2020
For the price you can't beat the value. We've taken this apart and customized it thoroughly and its lasted in our adventures so far. We installed it on a slide out drawer in our rear galley.

Now the Flame King black sticker will probably melt off the adhesive, and now one of the buttons is slightly melted as well as the left washer on the screw. But this is mostly our fault, as we're using a very large Ikea grill pan and oversized cookware does cause issues... keep that in mind.
