The unit has been in operation 24/7 almost since the day I got it works perfectly. Nice large cubes. My only thing is the cubes don’t last they melt too quickly. It does make a considerable amount of ice and a reasonable amount of time. I just have to remember to fill the well. this is a great purchase. The fact that self cleaning is fantastic. I usually do that at least once a month and then add water through a little vinegar in there, run the cleaning cycle a couple of times clean it when fresh water through it run the cleaning cycle again, drain it and then fill it up with water in there we go. I would highly recommend this unit. It’s easy to operate. The instruction manual is relatively easy to read and understand.

so last fall i bought a Silonn brand, makes 9 cubes every 7 minutes, but at camp across the country we needed one and I got this one 8 cubes roughly ever 6 minutes,, now the difference is my S brand has small and large cubes, large just means fatter,, this one only makes one size and comparing it is the small not very thick cubes,, so up to you for the price point,, this 20 bucks difference, will say neither hollow ice cubes last long, they do last longer if you freeze them in a standard freezer, ,These ice makers do not keep the frozen, they melt in the basket and recycle to make more,, , Also you can see the ice being made in this one, less material means less money,, my other, cant see when the cup is up and making ice, this one, kinda cool for a minute to watch the ice being made...

Fantastic ice maker

My ice maker in my refrigerator stopped working and when I called to get a service man to come and fix it, it would have cost me $210. I said to heck with that and went online to find a countertop ice maker that was a reasonable price and found this icemaker. After reading all the reviews I purchased it. I am so happy with it, it works perfectly and the ice cubes are just the right size for my beverage needs. It makes a lot of ice quickly which is a plus. The machine is very quiet which is also a good thing, I am very pleased with it and happy that it takes up very little space on my sideboard and I would recommend this icemaker for anyone who uses a lot of ice. I live in Florida so I drink a LOT of water and love it ice cold.

I love the color and the size. Wish the basket was a little bigger. I wanted to use it for a bit before reviewing. For the money it good ice maker. Makes bullet ice. I notice that the ice melts after so long so you don't always have ice waiting which is why I bought it. It seems to run a lot also. I don't know if mine is defective or not. It does work. One thing is ice fills the basket and the sensor thinks it's full but it ice cubes that stacked up in one area and the sensor think the basket is full. The ha dle is flimsy thankfully we tested that before carrying it handle. Comes with a scoops and basket. I like the ice maker but there little things that could make it better.

Makes the most god awful noises

Works great, makes decent ice. Doesn’t actually keep the ice from melting though. Most concerning thing is it makes the most awful noises! I’m not even sure what the heck the noise is. I’ve only put bottled water in it so it can’t be from hard water build up.

In just a few short minutes ice was in.my cup and I was enjoying a tall glass of ice water. My wife loves it to. She likes it because the ice is very cold but so solid you can't chew it up easily. Also very easy to make a cup of crushed ice . After it gets going the ice is coming out at a rapid pace. Filling it up once produced enough ice to fill out ice box in our freezer. Very nice and we enjoy it very much. I highly recommend it.

I like this ice machine. The ice basket is a little on the small side. Basket doesn’t get completely full before ice backs up in one spot. Which causes me to have to dump it when only 1/2 full.
