Best ice maker I’ve ever owned

I really like the design and look of this ice maker. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and that’s good for me because I have very limited counter top space. The retro look is very sleek. The black color with the rose gold trim is beautiful. I also like that the ice tray pulls out from the handle which makes emptying it much easier. It produces ice as described in the product description area (10 ice bullets in 8-9 minutes). I’m enjoying it and saving money on buying bags of ice all at the same time. I would recommend this ice maker to all friends and family and anyone who is in the market for a counter top ice maker. It is definitely worth the money spent when comapred to overall value and quality. I will say do not use regular tap water or distilled. ONLY use purified water. I used Dasani water and it only took three (3) 16.9 FL oz bottles to fill it to the MAX line. Overall, very nice product and fulfills the need of what I was in search of.

I really didn’t like this ice maker, it’s really nice looking and different but pointless. If you just turn on the machine it can take about 2.5hrs to fill the inner tray, which is like 1lb of ice. When the ice machine is already cool inside then it takes like 1hr. The problem here is that it doesn’t keep it cool, and the ice melts really fast specially in a hot country. So if you forget you are making ice it’s melted by the time you come for it. It doesn’t make a beep noise to alert you it’s full, it has a tiny red light at the top of the machine, not to the front. So if you get busy doing something at home and you forget, you can spend all day trying to do ice and can’t get any done cause it keeps melting. I started putting an alarm in my phone to remind me to check the ice in 1hr but so happens I still don’t have ice as it turns off for some reason indicating that it needs water, when the tank is half full… it’s really not worth 200 dollars, I got a 30usd discount and it’s still not worth it.

It made ice extremely quick. It will not keep it in the little bucket you do have to put it in a bag and put in fridge freezer but that isn’t a problem for me.

It does exactly what it was made for the only cons to the ice machine is that it will take a while to make ice. Like approximately, 10-20 minutes. Once the first batch is out the second and third will remain around the same time as making the first one. So making ice will take a while. Also remember though the ice is out there will be some left over water in the tray so be careful because it can be messy. Over all it is worth it. The ice come out perfect but it can take a while to make if you are patient.

Poor Functionality - DO NOT BUY

Decided to splurge on this more expensive, classy ice maker for our new home and immediately regretted the decision after enduring multiple malfunctions with the machine.

Firstly, the “Add Water” sensor comes on when it is no more than half and inch from the maximum fill line. The sensor has been faulty from day one of use and only appears to be progressively inaccurate.

In addition, the Small and Large options for ice size constantly flip between one another, ultimately leaving us with no option on ice size. It is stuck on Large and will not stay on Small for even one batch of ice.

Besides the malfunctions of the machine, it is bulky and leaks water when the tray is removed, making the experience not worth your time or money.

It may look nice but do not waste your time on this pricey item when there are plenty of other affordable ice makers on here with great functionality and design.

I love the look of this icemaker. It keeps the ice cold in the basket for hours. It fills up quickly. I do use bottled water since I have hard water at home. I have not had any issues with this.
