Just received the washer today (5/2/24). I got the large, and it's much bigger than I thought it would be. Almost twice the size of Comfee washer I replaced this with (which I believe is the size of the medium of this one). The barrel is definitely twice the size. I could only fit 2 towels in that one. In this one I could fit my two large thicker bath towels, one bath sheet and a regular bath towel in all at once no problem, with a little room to spare. They moved around freely during agitating. There 10 different cycles to choose from and 8 water levels. I've tried the Standard cycle so far. It appears to do one wash cycle and at least 3 rinse cycles for that (I stopped it at the 3rd and just did a spin cycle, which by itself appears to run 50-60 minutes), so I'm not sure how the other cycles do yet. When I flipped it over to put the bottom guard on (which didn't really fit exact, but not a big deal, as I don't have to worry about rodents like that anyway), one of the wires that connect the motor had come off, so I had to reconnect that, which was very easy. Maybe too easy. Hopefully it stays on, but it might be good to note to inspect that and the connected hoses under there from time to time (which I've circled in my picture), as I've read over time, they may come loose. It was probably a good idea to have the consumer put that cover on, which makes you inspect the motor area to make sure everything is OK there. I bought a silicone drip pan to place under it just in case. It's the size that would fit under a mini fridge. It is wider than this unit, but that is OK. (It saved my floor when I discovered the water hose had come loose, so it might be a good idea to get one, just in case) The washer was packed pretty good, with plenty of foam surrounding it. There may be a black plastic piece that protects the motor during shipping, so that can be discarded after unpacking. No damage on the unit at all, which is a little surprising since it came by FedEx instead of UPS, although they do much better at delivery in my area. Only one corner ding on the box. That's it. It arrived on time. The manual seems pretty straight forward, although the instructions on the top of the washer appear to have been translated by a pirate lol. Water hose comes with an adapter for a standard faucet, and it plugs into a standard household outlet, which was one of the most important things, as I have no other types in my apartment, not even a 220v outlet. It's a pretty quiet washer compared to the Comfee, especially on the spin cycle. I have it sitting near my open kitchen/living/entry area, and it didn't interfere with regular conversation or watching tv. Extra appliance coverage is available, as with most appliances you buy on here. I do not believe it is worth getting, as they disregarded my claim when the Comfee washer broke and started making grinding noise after about a year in. No response and just closed the case without any reason, so buying that again was not worth it to me. I do not recommend that. This one is bigger and cost less than that one did anyway. At this moment, I would definitely recommend this washer over that one. We will see if anything changes after a while and I will update my review, if needed. For the time being, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Update: 5/15/24 I have 6 people in my house and since the day it arrived, it's been used just about every day since, as we had quite a few loads to catch on between the old one breaking and the other washer I ordered never arriving. Most days it's been 3 to 4 loads. I'm actually making a dent in my laundry since the barrel is bigger, compared to feeling like I'm always just washing the same thing over again in my old washer and never getting anywhere. It sure beats sitting at the laundromat! I mostly use the normal setting. It only has 1 rinse cycle, as opposed to the Standard. I've tried the blanket setting with 2 standard size & thickness microfiber throw blankets. This setting looks to agitate and move the load around more than the normal and standard setting. It cleaned pretty well. The fast setting is just that. A quick 22-minute, wash, rinse and spin. I've yet the need to try the other settings, except the spin only setting, which does well to get a good amount of water out of most clothing. You may have to spin longer if you have heavier or thicker fabric in there, which this setting does the trick. It's still hanging in there with heavy use so far.
