Great stove, with easy installation (assuming you have a standard 120v socket ran to your cabinet. I replaced a broken built in microwave with this stove, and did the installation myself. Had to do a bit of cutting on the cabinet, but with careful use of a jig saw, everything fell into place. It looks fantastic and we've already used both the microwave and convection oven features. Heats up nicely, and browns food very well. Microwave functions as expected.

There are many features, and it's going to take some time to learn them all. However, I would recommend this for a household that needs a 2nd oven and a microwave. It's excellent!

Don't buy this oven. Our failed in just over one year.

I've been trying to get this oven fixed for over a month now. It took four tries to get the right diagnoses, the right techs, the right parts here to repair it after the Upper Thermal Sensor failed. They were here just yesterday and pronounced it fixed. Not. I've got a half-baked cake that I guess I'll have to throw out. The concept is great, but this is just ludicrous. I'll never buy another GE appliance. My old Electrolux Speed Oven didn't do everything as well as this one but lasted about 10 years. Considering the price of these and the GE brand, you'd think it would be more reliable. I'm really angry now. I've got company coming.

I've had it for 8 years. Most expensive microwave I've every bought. And, yes, 99.9% of the time this Adventism is used as a microwave. The speed cook is unhelpful (mostly for processed foods and does a poor job of it), and the oven never, ever works as well as a "regular" oven. Had a houseful at Thanksgiving and gave it yet another whirl as a second oven. Was Reminded, yet again, at what a poor purchase this was.

Great oven with a terrible flaw

We did an entire kitchen remodel last November purchasing this oven sight unseen, since the new version was not yet in stores. Never would I have imagined that the door opens down, and not to the side, like every other microwave I have seen, nor like the old model on display. It works wonderfully for reheating, quick cooking, and toasting, but I have a hard to impossible time getting heavy items in or out, and I'll never be able to clean it. Even standing on a stool, I can't reach the back. Would be awesome for under the counter, but not on top as a double oven as displayed at my store. Waiting for a new version (hopefully!) to replace it.

At three years of age my expensive appliance died. Of course the warranry is history. One appliance service man looked at it and said the problem was too complex and i would have to call a certified GE appliance service technician. I did. After ten days and two rounds of ordering parts and multiple consults with the factory the bill was $550. Is this the Beta version? This thing has everything on it but birth control. No wonder it breaks down. If you have dedicated your life to new untested cooking technology and have gobs of money this is for you. Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere.
