Don’t hesitate to get this freezer it’s small but carries a punch. I leave it on level 2 from. 7 and it keeps everything well frozen without creating any ice. Great product for a descent price.

This was a great choice. Looks nice and performs perfectly. I had not correctly measured the spot where I'd hoped to place it, so a temporary adjustment is working out for the time being. Please measure carefully, and do leave air space at sides, top and back (manual recommends 4"). The ENTIRE frame of the freezer is shrink wrapped...blue on the door, clear on the black box part. It's hard to see on the black part, but it is on there, and is a thick plastic to be peeled away. Once in place, as "the manual" says, I let it set for 24 hours before plugging in, to let the coolant stabilize from shipping and unpacking. Don't ever turn it on its side. I always read manuals and highlight those things that should be remembered.
Before plugging in, the manual says to be sure the temperature dial is on "4" to start. Then adjustments can be made later for more or less freezing. Dial is located on the back, bottom left. Temperature "1" is warmest, "7" coldest. Put on Zero "0" to defrost when necessary.
Also, as recommended, I first wiped down the inside with baking soda/water and then dried. There was absolutely NO odor of any kind before or after.
When first plugged in, while initializing, the outside of the case gets hot. Don't put anything on top of it at this time. I set several water-filled cups and items inside to monitor the freezing process, and as soon as I felt it was cold enough, put some of my frozen foods inside. They have stayed rock-hard at the "4" setting! I'm surprised at how much can be placed inside. I have room to spare, and am really pleased with this quiet, efficient little freezer.

The size is perfect, it keeps foods frozen at the recommended setting, and it is attractive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it frosts up VERY quickly and there is frost on some of the packages. Not a deal breaker and I am happy with it.
One other problem. I ordered the recommended tray to go under it, but the door doesn't open when it is on the tray. We solved that by raising the fridge with 2 pieces of wood. Now its fine.

Works as advertised! Be sure to leave it sitting upright for at least 4 or more hours before powering it on to let it settle from shipping to avoid damage.

So far, we are loving this freezer. It doesn't take up a lot of space and holds plenty of food. It has a good finish that hides fingerprints well and has been very easy to clean when spills happen. We bought ours as an open box model and got a good discount too, but even at full price, we unanimously would buy this again.

I bought this freezer for church to store our ice cream (a group of us get together for a "game day" once a week and enjoy some ice cream) during the two months the large kitchen freezer is being utilized making easter eggs. It kept our 4 half-gallon containers perfectly plus another small item or two. We'll see how it works when we plug it back in next year, but I expect it will work just fine.

When I first opened up the fridge and placed it in my kitchen it had a pretty severe wobble, which may not be an issue for some ppl but I live on a second floor, I know the knocking of a full freezer rocking back and forth on my hard kitchen floor must be extremely obnoxious for the neighbors below me, I ended up having to cut off a piece of the foam packaging it comes with and wedge it under one of the corners. And yes the film around it is extremely annoying and loud to get off so I’ve just left it on it. I just feel like for over $200 there shouldn’t be any issues like this quality wise it’s not a large or impressive freezer by any means. And the cord is pretty short so I can’t store it on my balcony which was the intention. And the shelves aren’t even adjustable either, like they can come out but they have set places they go. Again nothing too crazy but for the price I shouldn’t have to deal with these annoyances I would rather just invest in a better quality freezer

This is a great small (3.2 sf) freezer. Reaches 6-8 below freezing and holds, even though it is in South Florida sun for a couple of hours in the mornings. Efficient shelving and the door is aluminum and highly reflective of light/heat.
