    I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far.

    Pros:
    a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job!
    b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!)
    c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour.
    d) Very compact and pretty light.
    e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother.
    f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste!
    g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away.

    Cons:
    I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell.

    Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice.
    The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price.
    Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah.
    I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week.

    So far, this is a great buy!!

    This ice maker has been amazing. It makes the perfect size pebble ice that is chewable. I love the self clean option. It is a bit noisy when it runs and I usually need to fill it with water almost every timr I use it, because we use it a lot.

    I purchased the Euhomy nugget Ice maker for when I was traveling in my camper. It saved me many times to quickly make ice for a cold drink to cool me off in the summer heat. I also use it at home because I prefer the smaller ice cubes which cool off beverages in record time. Easy to drain and refill. It's been a nice addition to the kitchen.

    This ice maker is still going strong almost a year into purchase. I have it running 24/7 and I am constantly grabbing ice from it. The ice is soft and easy to crunch which is why I got this specific ice maker. I have hard water and so I just use the big jugs of water from the grocery store. We clean it through really well monthly and I wipe down the water storage weekly to prevent build up. It’s not terribly loud, and it makes ice very fast!

    Delivered in good time. Arrived in good condition. Very easy to install, just follow all of the directions and suggestions. I unpacked, placed it in the space I reserved for it - on the darker side of the kitchen with good ventilation. I wiped down all of the inner surfaces with a lightly damp towel with fresh lemon juice, dried it down and let it rest for near 24 hours in its upright position (you never know what position it is in while in transit and the coolants have to settle before use). When ready to use it I used cool fridge filtered water and the first batch came out in about 8 minutes. This makes ice really quite quickly, just be sure to empty the basket into a container (or ice bag) in your freezer and you’ll be good. If you have the presence of mind you will take the ice storage bin out of the freezer and use the ice scoop on it after about a half hour to break up the ice. The ice comes out of the ice maker as wet ice. A freezer running at 0°F will turn these into a block of ice without some intervention once the ice has cooled down sufficiently. When not using the ice maker, I simply turn it off. You can drain the water left in the well if not going to remake ice soon. I’ve only had this a week and read some of the horror reviews from other purchasers. So far it is so much easier and less time consuming than making the tray ice that I was forced into after my (high end *cough cough*) fridge freezer ice maker choked for the second time, figure it’s cheaper in the long term too, as the repairs are expensive but the fridge and freezer still work really well. This allows me an easy ice making solution until I next have to replace the fridge freezer. Will update if things change for the worse, but holding good thoughts!

    18 Months later: This machine is still working really well. It really is easy to maintain. First sign of a bit of contamination (usually a miniature black spot) within the water well or ice deposit section, then it’s simple to unplug, hang over the kitchen sink, and drain the water. First few times I used a kitchen towel with fresh lemon juice on it to clean the interior. This worked okay, but found I had to clean quite frequently. Now, when I see I need to clean it I use a towel wipe (of the kills all 99.9% of germs variety) on all the surfaces and then I run filtered water through the unit a few times (sloshing it around all surfaces including the upper ice production section) then refill with filtered water and it works very well and it only takes a few minutes to run through the cleaning routine.
