I had no idea that you could get this kind of ice at home. My second little ice maker. First one makes bigger cubes. I love love love this ice maker. I will never be without it again. That being said. It makes plenty of ice for two. It does make noise when making ice but it’s not annoying or that loud in any way. Easy to operate. It lets you know when it needs more water.
Perfect for margaritas at home. Best thing I’ve ever ordered from Amazon. I use it multiple times a day.
We purchased when our refrigerator went out and we had weeks until the repair guy could get to us. Then had a 2nd compresser put in frig so we had to have an ice backup. Like much better than our refrigerator ice.
This ice gets a 10. Soft ice.

The only thing I don’t like (and this is minor) is that you do have to shuffle the ice in the hopper about every 40 minutes or it builds up and shuts off. I knew that when I bought and it does say that on the instructions so it’s not a big deal. Would buy it again. Starts making ice in 10 minutes and fills the bucket in about 90 minutes or so. We make a batch and then toss it in the freezer in a thick zip-lock bag.

Some people complained that when you freeze it, it turns into a big chunk. We get around this by (1) draining any melt water before placing in the zip-lock and (2) taking it back out about 20 minutes after initially putting it in the freezer and tapping it on the counter to break it up a bit. Then we toss it back in the freezer and that seems to keep it ready to use out of the bag.

This was a bit of an impulse buy, but we like it a lot!

Perfect nugget ice

This machine makes the perfect nugget ice. Even my dad who thought this was a pointless buy uses it when he comes to visit.
The only negatives are that the ice machine does make a humming noise when running (it doesn't bother us)
And the ice does start to melt (slowly) when the bucket is full. There's no cooling compartment to keep the ice frozen, which again we knew and wasn't an issue for us.

Freaking love this little ice maker! Works better than expected. Makes ice like crazy! I ran the first batch which is kinda slow but after that it spits ice out pretty fast. I don't have to go get the "Thornton ice" anymore. It's here when I need it. Wife loves it. Instant cold beverages. Leomonde with alot of ice.....oh yeah! We use bottled water so no calcium build up. No noise other than the small fan. Matter of fact I'm done...gonna crunch on some ice!

While it does make the “good ice” as we call it, you have to keep a constant watch on it because the ice does not spread out in bin so it will quit making ice until you spread the ice build up out and it doesn’t seem to make as much as the description said. Makes ice very slowly. Would look at better options if I was buying again. Only kept this one because I just didn’t want to deal with hassle of returning

Works great BUT you need to constantly move ice forward

So this is a second unit I've had(my first stopped working different brand). It works great and is very quiet! Super easy to clean and refill. Small enough to put on my counter with shelves above it. BUT you have to constantly keep moving the ice foward. It produces ice and then it stops without filling it completely. The sticker on the front says "move every 45 minutes" and in reality who has time to do that? I work 65 hour work weeks I want to just fill my Yeti and go but I can't fill it because the ice reservoir isn't full. Then to fill it with more water I need to move the ice reservoir to dump my water. It's a decent unit I would expect it to be cheaper BUT it isn't badly priced.

Broke in 3 months - but full refund

We bought one for the office. 3 months later it started making a screaming sound, like nails against a chalkboard. Tried to return it or exchange and was told we can’t.

EDIT: After posting this review, the company reached out to me and offered us a full refund. I’m impressed they stand behind their product — so many companies don’t! — so I’ve edited the review.

Chewable clear crushed ice and not bullets !!!

I have a day doing stuff around the house, and include running the icemaker. Fill quart zip lock bags to stack in freezer. Not a brand name I recognize, but it has not caused any problems and works excellent. Ice works well with drinks, and tastes wonderful. Highest recommendation possible!
