I got 2 for the price of one at Amazon. At Sears Parts Direct, I would've gotten only 1 for this price, and would've paid more for shipping. It was easy to install. Our refrigerator is about 4-5 years old now, so the original spring lasted about that long. I put the spare spring away for when this replacement spring breaks.

I have an old Samsung RF266 refrigerator (13 years old). The door lip spring was broken. To replace it, it doesn't need to take down the lip, but the spring has an orientation. I first got it wrong and then changed the spring orientation and it works.

The spring works great on my Samsung refrigerator, they break off about every three or four years from the kids yanking the door open all the time so it was time to get more .
