(It was time to replace my 30 year old Frigidaire cooktop and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to upgrade.)
This is an excellent 36inch cooktop made by Foshan Fanmi Home Technology, branded under "Amzgachftch".
The unit is well designed and has some unique features. For example each burner has a thermocouple that shuts off the gas if the flame would go out. The cast iron caps don't have any protrusions that need to be aligned with the rest of the burner, making placement after cleaning trivially easy.
The manual is a bit confusing with way too much detail in parts, but with required information missing. For example page 4 talks about "half fish kettle burner" and "broiler", both things that have nothing do do with this item. On the other hand, the package includes a long strip of grey silicon foam tape, but this is not mentioned at all and it is not clear where it should go (Well, we can guess of course!).
An entire page is dedicated to the nozzles needed for five different types of natural gas as well as butane. Looking at the installed natural gas nozzles (73, 105, 118, 143), they are closest to G27 (75, 106, 121, 145) but don't match any of the listings exactly. We must trust that they are designed for US natural gas, and they probably are. (It also comes with a set of nozzles for LPG, which is mostly propane, but there is only a listing for butane and the included LPG conversion nozzles don't match anything in the table). It would be helpful to adapt the table for the US market. We also don't have "Corgi registered installers" in the US as the manual recommends, that's an UK thing.
The requirements for the grounded 110V AC connection is not mentioned. The service tag only lists a total power of 10.46kW, which is for the gas (~ 36000 BTU), not the electricity! This obviously might confuse some people. No, we don't need a 100A+ breaker! The power cable is 4ft long. In my testing, it draws about 0.5W during ignition, but nothing most of the time.
For preinstall planning, it would be good to know that the 1/2" gas connection is in the right rear corner and I added a photo to show that.
The somewhat confusing documentation is a small issue, what counts are the design and features. The layout of the various burners is excellent and very little surface space is wasted for the knobs. The knobs, grates and stainless surface look great. I am very happy with this cooktop!
