Makes ice quickly and plenty of ice as you keep it filled with water. Perfect size for a small camper. Does not take up a lot of space. Decent long cord. Easy to clean. I’m am very pleased with this product. Stop paying for ice when you’re camping. Makes enough ice for two people easily every day and then some. Very quiet. Great deal.

Works as advertised. Fast, easy and gives you perfect ice cubes. Perfect for parties or if you run out of regular ice cubes. I recommend buying this if you’re looking for a way to make ice cubes other than your freezer.

Easy to use and works quite quickly. The only thing is you can’t wait until basket is full to empty ice (it takes multiple ‘cycles’ to fill basket) because the ice will start to melt. So after a couple cycles, I dump and put in the freezer.

When I first turned it on, it would not start, the add water light was on, even though it was full. After rereading the manual, it says to place it on a flat surface for 2 hours. I waited 2 hours and tried again, and it works great. I put 28 ounces of water in it. It used up all the water in just under 2 hours. I ended up with more than 29 ounce of ice. Way cheaper than a new fridge with ice maker and it solved the problem of bad taste and odor that I have using ice trays.

Absolutely love this icemaker. It's small but makes a ton of ice quickly. This one replaced a much more expensive one that died. I would definitely recommend this ice maker. Great price too and not loud at all.

This is actually my second ice maker. My first one was probably made by the same manufacturer since it make the ice the same way and it uses the same ice catching bin. The main difference I saw was this machine has a handle (old one did not have a carrying handle), it has a separate cleaning button (old one required holding the power button for 10 seconds), and it has and air vent opening on the left and right sides So air can be pulled in one side and blown out other (old one one had an exhaust vent). Most of these claim 9 ice cubes in a small or large bullet size and claim it makes them in 6 minutes. Although the old one still works I needed a little more ice than it could make so it gave me a chance to try a newer model. No difference in the ice coming out. The handle is the best feature for one handed carrying vs using both hands to carry the old. Both have a drain plug on the bottom. Although it recommends running the cleaning once a week I’ve never really done that. Every time I’m using ice I end up adding fresh water to replace what I took out as ice cubes so the water is just there for a day or two depending on how much ice I use. If you take out the ice bin there is a fill line for the water. As my pro hint, I turn off the ice maker and leave the ice bin in and fill it until I just notice the water touch the bottom of the ice bin. Even going over a little doesn’t hurt it. I then turn the machine on. As it sucks the water up there’s no water touching the bin anymore. Now when you first put water in it the ice doesn’t last as long. It starts to last longer as the water inside becomes chilled. Filling it with cold water will make the cubes last longer. Only the section that makes the ice has a freezer. The rest of the unit isn’t a freezer so the ice will slowly melt but the water is reused to make more ice. Both units I have isn’t completely sealed and it is possible for tiny insects to get in. I tend to lift the ice bin to glance at the water to make sure nothing is in there. The water holder is white plastic so it’s easy to see if anything is in there. Now I use filtered water to reduce chance of any buildup in the machine and I don’t have to run any cleaning solution through it.

I had high hopes for this ice maker that were dashed quickly. I made sure to allow the ice maker to sit upright for over 24 hours after delivery. Followed the directions to a T and enjoyed watching the ice maker work for exactly 1 hour. After that the add water light came on even though the water was sufficient. Then drained the water and tried again. No luck. Unplugged and began again. Nada. When I first started the machine the compressor came on. The pump came on. It all worked. Now nothing. Silent. All that works now is the paddle that moves the ice cubes into the basket and the lights on top. I bought this on Prime days so at least I’m not out the full price, but this is a major disappointment. It had high recommendations and good reviews. Sadly not my experience at all.
I will say the ice that it made after the first few batches were nice pieces of ice. The first batches were very small but grew larger as the machine continued to operate. Then when my hopes were highest, it died! So do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a machine that will last more than an hour. And when you figure out which machine that is, let me know!

UPDATE… The seller contacted me and asked me to remove my review. They offered to refund my money if I would remove my review. I contacted Amazon and was informed that this is a violation of their policies for sellers. So my review will stay.
