Great High Quality Range Vent

Found this searching for a stainless range vent with all digital touch controls. This high quality range vent will make any kitchen look great, especially those with matching stainless appliances. It provides great illumination of the entire range area and the bright LED clock provides a night light effect in a dark kitchen with the unit powered off. It has a strong fan with 3 speeds and we typically use the lowest/quietest speed to completely rid the range area of cooking smells. Another great benefit is the well-thought out, planned maintenance as it includes very nice removable/washable filters and a catch container for the motor.

It's also very easy to install- just be sure to use at least 5 anchors (many extra are included). After all measurements, use 3 anchors on the top main mounting bracket and 2 on the lower holes behind the fan motor. I'd suggest starting with a drywall screw on both lower ones as I got lucky on the first one and hit a stud. The lower anchors/screws will prevent the unit from being lifted off the top bracket hooks if it's accidentally bumped from below, e.g. taller person leaning over to clean the range and bangs their head, etc.

Quick shipping , perfectly packaged ,Very easy to install .We removed the microwave and the cabinets that were above it and install this hood, it was a perfect size .Its solid and looks expensive, gave our kitchen a facelift . Its not loud like most hood .Very happy with the product , worth every penny.

When we received the package I was concerned as the box was pretty damaged; there were holes and such. Thankfully, it was packaged as a box within a box, and the inside box holding the unit was untouched.
This looks great in our remodeled kitchen. It was fairly easy to install, however my husband mentioned that it would be nice if a template were included so you didn’t have to put it up and take it down so many times to get the holes in the right place for installation.
Also, he thought it would be nice if gloves were included so you could avoid getting fingerprints all over the glass & metal during installation. Luckily he had some from another project still.
The control panel is easy to use, and the lights offer quite a bit of light on the stove. The suction works well, and while it’s a little loud, I don’t think it’s any louder than any other vent hood that we’ve had.
Overall, we’re pleased with the purchase and would recommend it.

I bought this as a close match or exact replacement for a previous unit that unfortunately has failed twice since it was installed. The failure in my application has more to do with how the original installers chose to address the ventilation around the boards in the attic. Basically the unit would work until clogged (remember to clean the metal filters) but still there were too many failures, slow starts, grinds etc. Basically the install is allowing bits of the attic to come into the fan parts and destroy them so I bought this to help with my now second rebuild of the first one which I will do as part of correcting the installation error. As installed (not per instructions) this was very difficult and potentially hazardous to remove the chimney cover plate to access the service areas. Will update install stars after that project completes.

I have had the standard range hoods in the past. They were hard to keep clean, very loud. This one tho the ability to clean the grates is fast and easy, it has three speeds for suction. It is very beautiful. I love everything about it. Everyone who has come to see my kitchen remodel loves it.

Received this 30" unit, well packaged and promptly. Installed it an it looks pretty awesome, installation was a no brainer. Due to the 12' ceiling I had to make an extension but it worked out perfectly. Enough power to push air up through the attic to the outside.
I recommend this, excellent value, lets see how she holds up long term.

Manufacturing Defect - Burr Scratched Inner Chimney Cover - Won't Send Replacement

I'm giving it 1 Star because their customer service is great before you purchase, but terrible after you purchase and the manufacturing quality on the stainless steel chimneys is poor. This item was delivered in early April, but not installed until ~ May 26. While pulling the inner chimney cover up to the ceiling to attached it to the upper wall bracket, the inner chimney cover has 2 scratches on the front (each about 1 inch from the side) due to a burr on the inside of the outer chimney cover. They will not send me a replacement, because it was more than 30 days since I purchased it. If someone is doing a major kitchen renovation, it's difficult to purchase everything the day before you are going to install it. Very unhappy with their rule. I don't see this rule advertised. I only see the 5 year warranty advertised. Oh yeh, the 4 screws that attach the outer chimney cover to the main unit were almost impossible to get in. I had to open up the hole a hair with a drill. The screws are made of such a low strength material, they would not "self tap" into the rear of the main unit. The booklet needs updated to match the hardware provided. They give directions to hang the unit on 3 screws coming out of the wall. Actually, they now have a plate that you mount to the wall which the main unit hangs on. Seems silly they can't update the clock from military time. If I would have purchased it closer to the install date, then they would have sent both to me. It sounds like they get this complaint about the scratches alot.
