I rarely write reviews but was just talking about these with a family member and figured I'd give a little review. We bought this in March 2023 for $79 and have definitely gotten our money's worth. It is still going strong and makes consistent ice after the first couple rounds.
I find it takes about 2-3 hours to make two full containers that we keep in our freezer. I'd imagine maybe double this if you are looking to fill a small/medium cooler.
As many have pointed out (which I had read and understood prior to purchasing), this is NOT a freezer. The ice just sits in a tray. You can say the internal temperature stays "cool" from the ice, so it's not rapidly melting as if you're leaving it on the sidewalk.. but it is WET ice. What we typically do is dump the ice in the freezer.. and after a few minutes of flash freezing OR before dumping the next load, we use an ice pick to break it up so it's not just a giant block.
We use this at least once a week but sometimes multiple days during the week and always have ice on hand.
It is not completely silent, but the noise is not terribly intrusive to us. It does put off some slight heat from the exhaust fan, but again - nothing intrusive.
All in all, we are very happy - and would definitely buy again if this ever stops working. Hope this helps!

I've been through many of these ice makers over the years. There are many different brands and they all seem to be made very similarly. It makes ice pretty quick, and is very easy to use. It's not too noisy and the quality seems pretty good. I have brought this brand in the past and bought this because it was at a good price and needed a backup. Our ice maker and our refrigerator has failed and this has been a lifesaver. It's very hard to speak on durability because that depends on how much it's being used. The overall build quality is pretty good. And I really can't complain about the performance. We use filtered water so the taste is just fine. Get this if you need a small countertop ice maker. One important tip is make sure you keep at least a few inches on each side open so it vents well. If you start to hear a humming noise that's the telltale sign that you need to add water. Always keep it topped off.

We love this machine, it works really well and is very efficient. Makes plenty of ice for the whole family. We dump it into ice bin of refrigerator to dispense from there. Any ice that melts goes back through the machine to make more. We have not run out since we bought this, and no more buying bags of ice for our beverages. Noise level is fine too, not very loud.

This item makes I’ve very quickly. It’s nice and compact if you have limited counter space. Only four stars because the ice starts to melt in the unit too quickly. Originally saw this at a friend’s house while attending a birthday party and was very impressed. Since our fridge doesn’t have an ice maker, I thought this would be great instead of filling ice cube trays. Unfortunately it’s not something you can keep running 24 hours and forget about it due to melting. But honestly, it makes ice so quickly, you can just turn it on and off when you need some fresh ice.

So I googled and googled to find a ice maker for my camper that wouldn’t break the bank.. it was a lil bit of a hard sale for my husband since he wasn’t sure if we “NEEDED IT”.. he plugged it in for me while I was getting things done and he started it.. very easy to use make sure tho you take off all tape inside and out.. the first two cycles were slow I expected that.. the more cycles the better the ice shape got and we even did the larger size.. it makes 9 cubes at once which does t seem like a lot but once you have a few cycles in the basket it will be good amount for you to use.. I like the fact that if the ice melts in goes back in the water reservoir..I kept making it till low water lit on the unit and I placed ice in baggy for future use.. I told my husband we will use this ice while we are making new ice next time.. this was said to be like #20 out of 100 so it’s got good reviews.. and I bought the ice maker cleaner so I can clean at least every 4-6 weeks I also got a gallon of water from the store since I am camping and the water may not be the best quality at the campground.

My husband and I have enjoyed this little ice machine very much! It makes ice quickly after it gets warmed up and going! I did not use the ice that it made until I'd dumped the ice and refilled the water reservoir about 4 times just to get rid of the new plastic taste. Also it has to sit up right for approx 24 hours before being plugged in and used per the instructions. I'd say everything was great after a day and a half into use!

This ice maker is PERFECT! I had a bigger ice maker that just stopped working so I ordered this one while it was on sale. When I first got this I thought it was a little small but perfect if you don’t have much counter space and I was surprised that it makes the same amount of ice as my old ice machine and better quality ice! 2nd picture shows how much ice is left after filling my 40oz tumbler and my toddlers 16oz tumbler, the ice does melt after a while as other reviews suggest but with how fast it makes ice it’s no problem to pop it on and have fresh ice in minutes. The only thing that I dislike about this machine is that I really don’t see a difference in the size of ice. Ice tastes good and this machine is easy to set up! Definitely satisfied with my purchase.
