What a wonderful freezer, especially for the price. Unboxed it, plugged it in and let it run for an hour or so and it works great and it makes very little noise. It fits perfectly in the space and it looks great.

I recommend this product. I waited to write the review for 6 months until I knew for sure this product worked. We keep the freezer setting on 2 and my food is frozen solid. No issues with this little freezer. It is perfect for a single person as it does not have a lot of room. The shelves are not movable and there is no light inside. It was very easy for me to pull inside the house and my husband helped me to unbox it and move it to its permanent location. I use this as my cake freezer. I am a home based baker. It keeps my cakes frozen so that I can decorate them easier. The shelves are spaced out far enough that a 6 inch high cake fits easily. It is NOT frost free. You will need to defrost this freezer on a regular basis as ice crystals build up over time. I checked many places before settling in this freezer and it’s price at the time was comparable to what I was seeing with other familiar name brands.

This little freezer works well for the most part, but it builds up frost worse than any other freezer I have ever seen. Will start to build up new frost within a day of defrosting it. Trying to keep it at bay to reduce how many times it needs to be done does not help. So while it works, I would not choose this one again.

I was originally drawn to this product due to the price, brand name and the fact that it would not take a year to actually have the item delivered. I read all the reviews and unfortunately I ignored the warnings and bought this mess.

The item arrived early and I moved it to the area I had set aside for it's home. As I unpacked the freezer I noticed several areas of damage. I made sure that none of the damage had impacted the integrity of the freezer and based on my inspection the damage would not impact the freezers functions. Set the freezer, leveled it and let it sit for about an hour. After about an hour I set the temperature at the lowest level and waited another hour. Everything seemed to be working fine so I placed some specific items in the freezer that would not fit in my larger units.

Next morning I checked on the freezer and was pretty disappointed to see the entire unit filling up with frost and ice on every interior surface. This has all occurred in less then 12 hours. The frost and ice continues to build despite setting the temperature on the lowest level. Obviously, this unit is going to be much more work then I had hoped for. Very disappointing, however I did not heed the warnings so I am stuck with this mess. By the way - trying to call customer service is a joke. You may think you have a Frigidaire brand supported by Frigidaire, think again. Calling Curtis International, LTD is a comedy show at best! Don't make the same mistake I made.

I hated the long wait for delivery only to be told it was lost! But they reordered it, and it got here on time the second time. It was very well packed and shipped bc it didn't have a scratch on it. The shelves are made of plastic and don't appear very sturdy. Very little noise. Perfect capacity.

I recently purchased the Frigidaire EFRF696-AMZ Upright Freezer and I am extremely impressed with its performance and design. This freezer is part of the Stainless Platinum Design Series, which gives it a sleek and modern look that complements any kitchen decor.
