About this item

[Save Time & Effort]: The CROWNFUL ice maker can one-touch make 9 pcs of ice in 7 mins, 26 lbs in 24 hours, which is faster and more labor-saving than an ice cube mold. It has a built-in 1.2L large reservoir. The melted ice water will flow into the reservoir again and will be used for the ice-making process. It is energy-saving and works efficiently.
[2 Ice Sizes & Portability]: The ice machine can make both large and small size ice cubes, where the large ice cubes are not easy to melt and small ice cubes are perfect to cool drinks quickly, so that you can easily choose the size of the ice cubes as per your needs for drinks, smoothies, seafood. The machine is small enough so that you can carry it around for your house parties, RV, office and many more.
[Save Money & Health]: Less than 100 US dollars is equivalent to owning an ice shop, no need to go to the store to spend money to buy unhealthy and unclean ice cubes. The ice maker is just a simple one-touch operation and is equipped with infrared sensor technology, where the added water indicator turns on when there is less water and the 'Ice full' indicator turns on when the ice basket is full, for a hassle-free experience.
[Auto-Cleaning]: Just press the 'select' button until the 'clean' indicator flashes, post which press the "on/off' button to start the automatic cleaning function, which deep cleans all the corners of the ice machine through water circulation, so that you can keep your ice maker neat and clean to produce fresh and tasty ice. We recommend cleaning your ice maker once a week.
[Warranty & Support]: CROWNFUL offers a 12-month warranty and lifetime support. Customer Satisfaction is our TOP priority. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact us. Note: You'd better put the ice maker upright for at least 2-4 hours before using it.

Make sure to pay attention to the instructions indicating to allow it to sit stationary and upright for at least a couple of hours after unboxing. I suspect that many of the negative reviews are a direct result of ignoring that step. Failure to do that will fry your machine because the refrigerant in the machine doesn't have a chance to settle where it's supposed to prior to being plugged in and operating.

Buy a container for ice to keep in your freezer. Make up enough batches to fill it up. Unplug it until you need to refill. It makes ice pretty quickly and completely effortlessly. I may actually drink water this summer!

We have been looking for an ice maker for some time now. Started making ice as soon as this was delivered. It is perfect for our needs. Makes plenty of ice within one day for a gathering of 20-25 guests. Very quiet and so easy to use. You can choose the size of the ice cubes. It alerts you when you need more water. Nice design so can be displayed on counter. About the same size as an air fryer.

First this ice maker is worth the $$ in some ways - in others meh.

Pros:
Wasn’t very expensive, isn’t bad to look at on the counter, is compact & bottom line does the job!

My husband is an ice lover - trays & silicone molds weren’t cutting it. Purchased this & he loves it. Every time he walks past I swear he gets ice out ????

Picture added for size comparison. Really is pretty compact & QUIET for the amount of ice it makes.

Cons:
The cleaning cycle is absolute trash, because of this the mold problem is real if not monitored (more below) & it last seriously 13 months (rightttt past warranty) before the water pump went bad - and YES exact same problem, exact same length of time, on BOTH purchases.

Most importantly - the mold. My husband noticed how dirty the white portion where ice dumps kept getting - even after the cleaning cycle. (Side note: we would run the cycle with vinegar & water, also tried a stronger cleaner once too). So I took it apart one day. Like unscrewed the lid & started spraying dawn power wash all over. With a scrub brush & toothbrush I was able to clean most of the heavily dirty area. That’s when I notice the tiny hole on the very top, very far right corner. This is where you’re water pumps from the bottom to top & comes out for ice. Mold. Caked in there. Mold. To the point of gagging mold. Thick. Chunky. Green. Yep you get it. Check the pics.

Bottom line - once a month I make sure the top comes unscrewed & off, everything gets dawn & scrubbed, & then a cleaning cycle is ran. Haven’t had an issue since. So just make sure to look out for it! I’m honestly expecting all ice machines like this to have this problem, & major props for making this one easily accessible when the top is unscrewed off! Cleaning is a real breeze. * Note I do not live somewhere with hard or nasty water. We have some of the best tap water in the world - rated & won twice.

I have purchased two of these. Like it says above, quits pumping water to the top after 13-14 months. Will say “add water” or just continuously run the fan but never make ice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! I'm impressed!

To be honest, after having owned a restaurant and buying and using commercial ice makers, I really didn't have much expectations with these.

The price was very inexpensive for what it promises to do so I went ahead and bit the bullet just to try it out. I've been using it for about 2-3 weeks straight now and I gotta say, I'm IMPRESSED!

The unit is bulkier than what pictures may seem. But that's ok as I've got plenty of space for it. When they say it makes ice in as little as 6-7 minutes, it wasn't lying. However, the first batch isn't the greatest. Still, it was quite amazing. It's fairly loud when running, but tolerable. I would say it's quieter than most dishwasher for sure. I leave it running all the time. When the ice bin is full, I'd say it's enough ice for 2 tall glasses if filled up almost all the way. So it's not meant to produce ice for a party, but 3-4 people no problem. If you have kids too then they can wait another 20-30 minutes for theirs. You of course don't have to wait for the bin to fill up, so if you're in a hurry less than 10 minutes and you'd got another batch.

You can choose small or large ice sizes. I prefer the large as it melts a lot slower. The ice maker itself doesn't have a water filter, but I'm glad it doesn't cause that'll be one more thing to upkeep. So I just use a Brita water filter pincher I keep in the fridge to fill it up. Filling it up is extremely easy as well, you just open the lid, lift the ice bin and pour water in. There is a MAX marked line that is very easy to see so you'd know never to overfill it. There is a red light that comes on when water is running low too, which is really useful because it's bright enough to see from far. Each fill produces quite a bit of ice so it's not something you'd have to do often. Also, I've tried it with water from the tap and the ice tastes amazing... using ice from the filtered pincher makes it taste PERFECT!! Also, speaking about the pincher I use to fill it, because I keep it in the fridge, it helps speed up the ice making process tremendously. I've never timed it to see how much faster it is, but I will say it's kept up easily with the ice usage in my household. So that's something I recommend.

I haven't had it long enough to speak on it's longevity, but so far for the price and what it does it's been a SUPER awesome purchase!
