if you sear or do kbbq this is a must have as it helps not stink up our home. I also do hot pot and camping and I think this is a must have you you don't want grease splattering everywhere. I was tired of my house stinking up and cleaning the really hard grease traps in my exhausting stove top vent. This helps a lot and I wish i had it sooner. Its quite big but not too loud. I can see this start popping up in restaurants that cook in front of you !. its comes with a pretty small charging brick and takes up a foot of space so be prepared so its foot print is quite tall too. Make sure you have the room. I like it comes with a metal mesh screen that easy to clean with just a wipe down everytime you use it. Loves that the head can be adjusted in height and angled to really get the best suction! if you pair this with a vent to the outside this will be an staple for portable grills that you use in doors. If you really care about VOC or have bad lungs and cook alot i recommend you invest in this !

My home was built without a range hood so it’s always been a hassle frying or cooking high heat foods in the house but I like this desktop range hood, it did a pretty good job of cleaning the air

I bought this with some apprehension as I couldn’t believe it would actually perform very well. My kitchen was built in 1968 and there was no room for a range hood without a major remodel. I decided to try this out. We cooked pan seared lamb chops which generates a fair amount of smoke and odor. It works very well to “suck up” the smoke and odor. He’d be a terrific option for anyone without the possibility of a range hood, and he’s portable— he could even be taken along for travel cooking.

We do a lot of tabletop grilling at my house (kbbq life) and smoke has always been the issue. I've been eyeing the Airhood which was the first of this kind, but it came out a bit over my comfortable price range. Then I found this gem. It's not as stylish and doesn't have all the whistles and bells, but it gets the job done at half the price. It's fairly low profile and doesn't take up too much space, and cleans all the smoke very well. I can't say it gets rid of the smell 100% but I'm only worried about smoke here. It's light and easy to carry around, and I can take it to any home grilling events knowing that I would be in good hands.
