    I want to install this electric burner directly into my countertop, but I gave it a try sitting on on top of my existing stove. One of the elements on my stove doesn't work well, so I wanted to give this a try for its larger elements. It's pretty simple to figure out, and I didn't even consult the instructions. The only thing that I figured out through trial and error, was that to lower or increase the temperature while the burner is on and cooking, you need to press the power button again to unlock the level buttons. It's very responsive to the touch, and heats up pretty quickly. It also heats very evenly, and the pans that I have, which are electric cook top compatible, were perfect for this electric burner. So, performance wise, I have no complaints. It heats well, quickly, and evenly. There were a few things that I thought deserved mention. The first is that, while it comes with these little rubber feet, I see no way to properly attach them. I'm not sure if the concept is to just have the electric cook top, literally sit on top of these four rubber pegs, but it would seem to me a better idea if they can be fastened somehow. I didn't see any included screws, or any joinery whatsoever that could be used to securely attach them to the bottom of the electric burner, if you want to use it on top of your counter, and put it away after. The other thing that is a bit of a shame, is its length. If you look at my picture with the pan on top of the large burner, you'll notice that the pen that I am using encroaches on the smaller burner quite a bit. That isn't a very large pan, it's one that you would expect to use size wise on a large burner, or element on the stove. It's an 11 inch frying pan, which isn't abnormally large. Basically, if you're using a medium to larger sized frying pan on the larger burner, you won't be able to use the smaller burner at the same time. There isn't enough separation between the two burners. That was a little disappointing. It is in fact the worst aspect of the electric cooktop, that I experienced. It's not uncommon for me to have two pans going at the same time, and one is always larger than the other. That scenario is not accomplishable with this electric cook top. It's something to keep in mind. Other than that, it does work really well, and heats very evenly.

    This 2 burner 2,000w glass cooktop has an impressive modern look with touch controls -- with a lock. What is most impressive is it can be installed in a countertop or used as a portable cooktop which opens it up for many uses like pot lucks or BBQ's, Parties etc. The cooktop is just plug and play with no setup. It uses an ordinary USA outlet and is easy to turn on. You then choose a burner to turn on and set the temp level from 1-9. The cooktop heats up similar to other glass cooktops I have had. This is not so bad because they are all that way but if you are used to gas or calrod stoves it can feel slow.

    As soon as you turn a burner on the built in fan turns on and it also stays on long after you have finished to cool the interior chassis box of the unit. The fit and finish of this cook top is excellent and beautiful and it is easy to clean but you need to be careful not to scratch the glass and use only approved micro abrasion cleaners on it. I am very impressed with this two burner cooktop and would order it again.

    This little cooktop is great for those occasions you have a lot going on in the kitchen. With 2 additional burners, it makes a world of difference. The only problem is, finding a place to stick it.

    I have kitchen on the smaller side and space for everything is hard to come by. The cooktop isn't that big, but handles a lot.

    It's really easy to use and the controls are simple.

    While I use it as an addition to my kitchen, I can see other use cases for it. Adding it to a patio or BBQ area, RV or camping, if power permits.

    For the cost, which I think is an exceptional value, I don't think you can go wrong with this cooktop.

    This electric cooktop work really well. It has the option to build it into a countertop if you want, but as a 2-burner unit I think it's best use is really as a backup to regular cooking methods or as an auxiliary cooking surface when you need to have a lot of things going at once. It will be extremely useful during the holiday surface since it can be set up on a countertop and only requires a regular 110V electrical outlet. I'm not nearly the cook my wife is, so I also have a significant appreciation for the timer function that turns the burner off after so much time to prevent scorching and overcooking when I get sidetracked. It is a great kitchen device to have around, whether you need a regular cooktop or as something to keep in reserve for those busy times where you find yourself needing to feed more people than usual.

    I got this nice, sleek looking tabletop burner set to use for my outdoor kitchen, because I wanted something besides the side burner on my BBQ to boil water or sauté veggies.

    The large burner provides a lot of heat and is perfect for most cooking needs, such as sautéing veggies, making breakfast or most other cooking needs.

    It did take quite a while (over 20 minutes) to boil a pot of water. To be fair, I did this outside when it was about 49 degrees, and I would expect it to be much faster indoors.

    The unit comes with four, easy to install, rubber feet to use it on a countertop, along with mounting clips in case you want to install it in your countertop.

    I plugged this into a standard 15amp circuit and didn’t have any problems. One thing to be aware of is both burners share the maximum power. The max power setting is 2000 watts. If you use only one burner, the max is 1600 watts. If you use both, the combined power can’t be more than 2000 watts. It will automatically limit the power settings on the panel to achieve this.

    The smooth design makes this cooktop very easy to clean.

    Overall, I’m very happy with this burner set.
