 I'm getting ready to use it for camping, and the quality is fantastic. It's perfect for the car and super easy to move around. No more need for ice or a cooler.This ice maker is super fast!It only takes about 5-10 minutes to make enough ice for a cocktail. Nugget ice is awesome because it melts in your mouth and is really easy to chew, which is great for kids who love ice. Plus, having a separate nugget ice maker means no weird fridge flavors, and it doesn’t take up much counter space. Highly recommended!

I received the machine and followed the instructions to go through the initial clean cycle. Turned it on and it started making ice (the initial ice that it instructs to throw away. Refilled the water reservoir and it won’t produce any more ice. It will go through cleaning cycles, so it’s not a power, filter, water or intake issue. The “making” light flashes, I press the power button and it beeps, but no ice. So now I have to package it back up and drive to UPS to return it, in order to get a refund. I wish that I could give it zero stars.

This is my first nugget ice maker. There’s something special
About nugget ice. It’s softer and gives that satisfying crunch.
This ice maker is not overly loud. I can hear it without my hearing aids but it’s not obnoxiously loud even with my hearing aids.
The directions are pretty explanatory, and the machine is easy to use. The only thing I don’t necessarily like is that sometimes the ice looks more crushed to me. That could be operator error. I have noticed it happening when I need to add more water. I’ll likely bring this ice maker to school when school starts and use it there. I am very happy with it !

I got this because my LG fridge's ice maker likes to stop working if you look at it wrong, SMH. At least it also likes to "heal" itself so there's that I suppose.
This thing works great. Within literally 2 minutes it already started putting out ice. Within about 10 minutes there was already enough to cool a small glass worth of liquid. I wasn't expecting it to be able to work so fast so that was a nice surprise. I recorded a video of it working but decided not to post it. My phone's mic is awful and you can't change its settings to lower the sensitivity. It made this sound waaay louder than it actually is so I didn't want to misrepresent it. So you'll have to take my word for it that this is actually really quiet for something that has a compressor in it. My Black and Decker mini fridge is almost twice as loud when it kicks on and I wouldn't call that loud. I like how small it is. As the current ice starts to melt and falls down into the water tank below, I had thought that melting would end up making the ice fuse together, but that's not an issue. It makes enough ice for 1-2 people. For a whole family though you might want to look at something larger. It's easy to drain and wipe clean. It also has a handy cleaning feature that will run the water through it and it doesn't take long for the cleaning cycle to run. I can't think of anything to complain about. This is a great backup for when my fridge decides it wants to be lazy.

So I'm not sure if water needs to go into the back of the unit or not. The parts description says it is water for teh evaporator but the instructions don't say to add water. I did anyway.

The water goes into the front portion of the machine then you put the basket in. This literally starts making ice in 5 minutes.

Step 1 is to add water and clean it. Dump the ice it makes the first round.

step 2 is to add more water then the next batch of ice is good.

The instructions sound like it is a foreign language translated with an online service but you can figure it out.

It is also a little hot when running but says it will turn off automatically every so often. We have made 2 batches of ice and used the bag it came with to store in the freezer. This won't replace buying extra ice for get togethers but it is great for a normal household of like 4 people.

The ice is like slushie ice but if you put it in the freezer it will get harder. IT is great for every day use and when you need some extra ice in a pinch if you are running low and have some friends over.

We used to purchase bags of this crunchy ice directly from Sonic Drive-in, now we can make our own! We're really loving this countertop ice maker. The product itself appears to be well made, and with the beautiful stainless steel outer panels, looks great on our countertop. Operation couldn't be simpler. You just add water, and turn it on. They weren't kidding when they say it starts making ice in 5 minutes. It was amazing how fast the bin filled. It's an interesting design because over time, as the ice melts in the bin, the water ends up back in the reservoir, ready to be made into more ice. The ice itself is small and cylindrical, and crunchy. It will be perfect for making frozen drinks in the blender. Obviously, operation is not silent, but not objectionable. . . just a low fan noise, and that's only when it's making ice. The only other control is the cleaning cycle, which simply circulates water through the system to freshen the plumbing. Bottom line, I think this ice maker is a winner.

The description said "soft" and it is. The ice is very thin and melts quickly. The ice does accumulate fast in the "bucket" but a lot of water drips from it when pulling the basket up. The ice is not solid like "nugget" ice. It is easy to clean and use but wish the ice was a little more dense for my personal preference.
