    I love this ice maker! I wasn't sure about it, as the first one I received did not work. I called customer service and the awesome representative helped me to return the first one and immediately sent out another one. This one works perfectly. I had an Igloo ice maker for 10 years. When it gave out I was searching to buy another one. However, I came across the Silonn and loved the design and wanted to try something new.
    Here is what I discovered:
    Pros-
    Makes a lot of ice cubes every cycle
    Make ice very fast, about 12-13 minute cycle
    Has a large water reservoir
    Is very quiet
    I use RO water and so the cubes come out clear and there is no weird taste

    Cons-
    Has a pretty big footprint on the counter, but is SO worth it.

    Would I buy this Silonn Ice Maker again? Absolutely
    Will I suggest this ice maker to others? Yes, I have already have told everyone in my family and most of my friends.

    This ice machine is by far the best I’ve had yet. Over the years I’ve purchased a few ice makers and this one is the best. It’s quick, the texture of the ice is not too hard not too soft . It’s the perfect crunch. The self cleaning feature is a great addition

    Works but overheats easily so store in a place where the vent can circulate cool air. Also removing ice from the front tray leaves the counter wet everytime. Next time I will get one that removes ice from the top. This being said it does effectively produce ice.

    I am very annoyed with how this is portrayed. It cannot keep ice cold so any photo of the container brimming full of ice is a huge lie. It melts quickly you have to plan to run the machine and quickly transfer the ice to freezer. And it all sticks to each other still.

    It also clearly states in the manual it is not safe for outdoor use but also states and shows in photos it can be used outdoors.

    It’s a huge pain to fill you have to remove the drawer and use something with a spout. I use my glass 2 cup measuring cup but you can’t turn the cup to empty all the water bc it hits the machine and spills out.

    Ice melts super fast even in refrigerated drinks. Melts faster than the machine can make them.

    I hate I have to babysit it to make anything or it just melts. If you keep watch you get can get a decent amount of ice. Machine runs very hot so you have to leave it open on the sides making it inconvenient to use/store.

    Completely regret this. I had wanted it to make smoothies but it takes so long to make the ice it’s an all day task. I also worry with infrequent use it will get moldy. I have no clue how it properly cleans with how hot it gets and how hard it is to get water and where does the bad water even go?

    This makes ice, does the job, but the container that holds the ice that it makes does not keep the ice cold enough to not start melting before the whole ice cycle is done. So you get some melted ice in the end. I would recommend if it is the only thing you can afford.

    I absolutely love this ice maker it is the perfect size to put on your kitchen counter. So sleek. Very easy to use, makes a good amount of cubes. Has the choice of small or large. I love how it lights up and it makes the ice. Definitely worth the money. I am so pleased with it.
