Product description

Brainwave Tuner is a brain wave stimulation application that generates tones with binaural beats, which can influence your brain frequency towards desired states like relaxation or enhanced attention. Equipped with 16 preset sound patterns, Brainwave Tuner is likely to have a tone you'll find helpful.

A simple app to use, Brainwave Tuner lets you set how long you listen to a sound pattern, be it for one minute or 15 hours. If you don't wish to set any time limits, simply leave Play Time set to its default setting--off--and the tone will play indefinitely. Select from five different background effects to supplement your listening experience, as well.

Most of Brainwave Tuner's tones--Relaxation, Sleep Induction, and Ocean Waves--are geared towards relaxing listeners. Some tones like Meditation, Schumann Resonance, and The Awakened Mind are designed to help listeners achieve a higher level of meditation. Both Meditation and Schumann Resonance provide pure, steady alpha waves with no background noise, while The Awakened Mind combines proportions of beta, alpha, theta, and delta brain waves.

Need a mental refresher? Tones such as Quick Mental Refresher, Creativity Enhancing, and Learning Aid use varied tone frequencies designed to help you focus.

Some of the sounds actually scare me which makes me anxious. The "sleep' sounds have a glitch that caused the volume to increase which made me nearly jump out of my skin. I will not be using this app that much...when I do it will probably just be the ocean sounds.

Doesn't do anything for headaches, but makes a nice sound machine for sleep!

So far, I've just used the sleep induction. It has been quite helpful! I use it when I need a nap during a break in the afternoon or early morning. A couple of times, I only fell asleep soon after the playback finished. Other times, I fell asleep during the playback.

5.0 out of 5 stars Try it. It might work.

It works for me. I know some people hate this, but I turn in down very low, when I am having a difficult time falling asleep or relaxing. It works for me. I would recommend at least trying it.

The sounds are low quality and fades in & out. It would be better if the sounds just play continuously and seamlessly loop.

I wish I Test Drive it before purchasing it.

    Total waste of $3.99.

the app is great, the fading in and out is part of tuning the harmonic frequencies of the brain the achieve the desired effect. the only one i dont like is the energizing one, i just find it annoying.

Before you purchase this. Use test drive on amazon's site. Definitely not worth 3.99. and as other people have said the sounds should be contiguous
