5.0 out of 5 stars Open-ended sandbox-style game
Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2013
This game is cute, engaging and filled with lots of tiny things to explore. You can change the lighting from day to night, cook, serve food to the children, put them to bed, play with them, put things in the fridge, etc. It has several scenes including a nap area, play area and kitchen area. My 2 year old finds it too open ended. It is not directed like the other games (which present some sort of problem to solve; ie plant seeds, mend bones, cook) and is completely open ended. My older 5 year old has discovered all of the things it can do. It reminds me, a bit, of what The SIMS would look like if it were made for very small children and everyone was always happy. That is the one downside: because there is no problem to solve, my 5 year old can put it aside for other games that have a more directed feel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good trial of app. Full version fantastic
Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2014
We have a lot of Dr. Pandas apps on various platforms. My 5 year old loves them. This one is her current favorite. Good options for the trial and she eventually begged me for full version. Works great on our Kindle hd. I'm impressed with all the various rooms and things to do with the daycare children. They are very good choices too. For example, the food in the refrigerator is stuff like cereal (muesli) and fruit. There is a birthday cake but that's just fun. :) Dressup and music is awesome too. Wish there were more 'music' options and their movements should be synced with the music. It's looks a little odd. All in all, a very lovely app. Well made. Thanks

4.0 out of 5 stars My 2.5 year old loves Dr. Panda
Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2013
This is a great app and my daughter is in love with it. It is very entertaining and very easy for a child her age to pick the game up and figure out just about everything about it. There are several rooms to go through and explore. So many items and toys do unique things that the little ones dion't get tired of exploring each room. My 5 year old also thinks the app is cool. We now own all the Dr.Panda apps. My only issue is that I downloaded this app under my username but then created a separate account for my kids using an amazon gift card so they wouldn't accidentally use my account. When logged into the app store I created for my kids, the app will not let my daughter play it claiming that the device being used does not own the rights to the app. Is there a way to fix this? My daughter has been very upset about not being able to play the game. I finally relented and logged into my account so she could play it for a while. I would gladly give the app 5 stars if there was a fix for the permission control related to the account the app was purchased through.

2.0 out of 5 stars lack interactivity
Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2013
My 4yo was annoyed that the babies don't eat the food she made and mommy and daddy never picks them up. She plays for 5 min then moves on to something else. This game had great potential but needs to be a lot more interactive. All you do is move the kids around

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute, Fun, Not much else going on though.
Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2013
I love the app as far as design and interaction goes.
My only problem as with most panda games is that there is not much else going on.

I'd like to see more updates and added features seeing as the game cost $1.99

UPDATE* 8-7-13

Still no content on any of the panda games I've owned, no updates, no fixes, I have come to the conclusion panda games look cute but are defective, full of bugs and lack in features and the developers abandoning the game and not replying to issues I've had with thier other games is completely bad customer service, Let this be a warning to you all.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best to keep toddlers engaged
Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2013
One of the few "free app of day" that was actually worth installing. In fact this app is worth more than the normal asking price. I will not waste time by going into the details you can read in the description, but what I will say is that this keeps my 3 y/o daughter captivated for quite sometime as she explores all the playtime activities she is able engage the characters in. The animation is well done and the programming itself executes smoothly without error. The only knock on this application is its limited learning value, but there are plenty of other apps for that purpose. What this app will do is buy you some time occupying your little one as you get caught up on things around the house.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dr. Panda's Daycare
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2013
I purchased this on my Kindle for my granddaughter who is 4 years old. Every time she comes to my house she asks if she can play on my Kindle she really loves this game. I showed her the first time what to do and since then she has been able to play by herself. Usually holds her attention for about 20 to 30 minutes till she wants to play another game. It enables her to use her own imagination to go from room to room and change what the animals are doing in each room the graphics are very colorful and I am very glad I purchased this from Amazon.

3.0 out of 5 stars my 3 year old daughter asked 2 vital questions---
Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2013
Dr· Panda apps are fun and easy to use for my 3 year old (andI must confess- I play Dr Panda hospital once in a while too. My daughter wants to know why the school doesnt have a bathroom and when do theparents come topick up the kids--and thirdly- why dont they hav a creative arts class ( you know- the classics: play-doh, paint, glue, crayons, etc

So we liked the app but could only give it a 3 because toileting and end-of-day mama/daddy pick up routine are vital elements in the mind of a preschooler
