5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent upgrade from the original app

So fun! My nephew loved the original Stack the States game. He knew all his states and capitals and could accurately place the states on the map when he was 5 because he was constantly playing this game on my phone.

The new version has much better graphics and is much more fun to look at. The game also got more challenging. The main game has more questions regarding random state facts. It also has 4 bonus games you can unlock by successfully playing the main game. One of the bonus games is new and very challenging. It will test your knowledge of state capitals and their locations. It is QUITE challenging!!!

The game is also very customizable, which makes it great for learning too. You can log in up to 8 different users. Then you can specify which types of questions you want it to ask. So, if you are a novice you can set it to only ask about state shape and capital. As you become more proficient, you can add in things such as landmarks, cities, nicknames, etc. Each user can set up their own question base.

I had completely mastered all the questions on the original Stack the States. This new version is still challenging to me. I am learning the location of all the capitals now and also, a lot more random facts about the different states. I will get them though, because this game is very addicting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Fast Way to Learn

I am retired and wanted a quick way to learn where all the states are, not just their general locations. I was going to buy an informational type game, but I ended up buying this because of a recommendation. I was glad that I did because it's a really cute game--the music and sound fx add a lot to the enjoyment. Because it was so entertaining, I ended up learning not only where the states are, but where all their capitals are, too, in just two days. This is a wonderful way to get kids interested in learning geography, and it's fun for adults who want to brush up on their knowledge of the US.

My kids love this game and it teaches a great deal about the states. We started with Stack the States, then advanced to this one as we finally completed the last one. This one gives more information and helps the overall knowledge of kids as they advance with their knowledge of states.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Geography Obsessed 6-year-old Loves this Game!

I don't think I would recommend this for anyone under 6 unless they have a special interest in states/ capitols/ geographic location. My son loves this game and has taught him so much. I have to admit, it's even taught me so cool USA facts. He plays through each of the game versions. You have to earn a certain number of states to earn different games. It definitely keeps him interested and he actually said that State the States 2 is his very favoriate game.
