If you have not played the logic puzzle video game THINKROLLS Kings & Queens or THINKROLLS Space or have not witnessed your child(ren) play these…do it! Although the easy levels can be completed by a typical toddler, and the hard levels by a typical five-year-old (with adult guidance), it can still be quite challenging for an adult. I am convinced that these THINKROLLS video games are one of the best games for a preschooler’s brain development. And I feel qualified to make this statement as I have been in the field of early childhood education for over thirty years, twenty-four of those years with my own preschool. These video games improve memory while stimulating the ability to assess a situation; developing reasoning and problem-solving skills. And the best part is when you don’t do it correctly the first time, you can instantly re-do your steps an unlimited number of times, until you get it right. In fact, as an adult the hard level is one of the most challenging and yet riveting video games I’ve ever played.
