5.0 out of 5 stars Great app for a toddler
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2014
My granddaughter, who is 19 months old, loves this game. She has always loved counting (it has been a way to distract her when she's upset). We count things in her books, even if it's not a counting book.

The app is easy to use, as the objects on the screen are touched, they are "marked" with a number and they are "less bright" so they don't count them again. The app responds to slight touches, so sometimes 2 are counted because her thumb touched the screen. That doesn't seem to bother her at this point. There are lots of different objects to count, and she recognizes most. You can set the app to focus on just animals, or shapes, or other items, as well as use all of them.

We use it on the Kindle Fire HD, and also Android phones.

My toddler (20 months) enjoys this game. It helps her motor skills by poking the items and teaches counting in a number of different languages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for learning to count.

My daughter is just under 2 and we are trying to teach her to count to 5. You can set number limits, and have it go randomly. You can chose which type of pictures your child is counting. My daughter, in 2 weeks of using this at appointments only, can count to 3.
Here's what it does:
When you go in, you set your settings and hit play.
A picture comes up, with any number of pianos, ducks, carrots etc.
As your child taps on each of the items, a number shows up in front of it, and the app says the number out loud.
After tapping on all of the items in one screen, a new screen pops up and your child can start all over.

It is a really basic app, however perfect for children around 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great educational app

I love this game app. Ithe helps teach counting and keeps my 2 year old entertained while learning. Ito great that he can press any of the items to count in any order and it will still count them. The voice is also a nice soft women voice that's not annoying to me like some other toys/ apps can be. Would recommend to a friend as a good eeducational screen time child game.

3.0 out of 5 stars I like the app
Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2016
I like the app, but the adds cover parts of the screen and when my grandson is trying to count some of the items on the screen he accidentally hits the adds and it's a little frustrating having to close the ad to get back to the game. But free is free and the ads are what keeps it free.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the very best toddler apps!

I just really love this app. The music is very calm and relaxed and there are nice little verbal rewards for the children when they complete a count. This app also gives parents the opportunity to teach new vocabulary. This app does one thing, one very important thing and it does it well. You will not be disappointed. I have not found anything that really compares to it.

For one, this version is the same as the free. It also doesn't get past the first number on Kindle Fire. it was only $.99 but it's still annoying.

4.0 out of 5 stars My 18 month old asks to play it everyday
Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2013
The free version of this sucked beause of all the ads and because she kept getting knocked out of the app, she would get frustrated. Now that I purchased it the ads are gone and she is much happier. She brings it to me at least once a day. Well worth it.
