5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great quality app from this developer! Installed on both older and new kindles

I have the original Kindle Fire 7inch 8gig storage and the NEWEST 7inch HDX.

I was able to install and let me kids play with this app on BOTH devices.

The original Kindle Fire was full so the download stopped and the install failed.

I then deleted a few old PDF files and apps to reclaim some storage space.

After that I did not have any issues installing the app.

The app runs slightly slower on the Kindle Fire -vs- the HDX but that is to be expected.

We have played with the app on both devices and so far no problems. If your device fails to install check to see how much storage space you have, you may be a little low.

Hopes this helps.

Now for the app Review............
The app is beautiful, my kids an I really like it. You can tell its well done. We yes we find it can be a challenge when you have to think fast to complete the math problems while in full game play. It's a cool game and educational concept. Thanks so much for making it. Forget the kids this thing will keep me busy for a while.

Now we have not made it to the upper levels as of yet, but I would like to see the field of play larger to have more time build out more towers and doing more problems.

I really expected more out of this game. I suppose it would be ok for kids learning their math. But I do not have any kids in the house so it did not interest me at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars I hate math but love this game
Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2014
This is very similar to an online game where you build special towers to destroy monsters. Only in this version the monsters are numbers! You have to answer math problems, ranging from "simple" to complex. Here are the pros and cons.

PROS

1. FUN! This game is super fun and addictive. It also challenges you to do the math problems quicker!
2. Contains addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Cons
1. The level jumps from kind of simple (8+9) to difficult (34+45) to extremely difficult (123 +234). I was not able to keep up with the level jumping to build better towers for later levels.
2. It's a battery sucker. I only got to play a few levels before I had to put my tablet up.

Overall? I'm keeping it! Great concept that was well executed.

3.0 out of 5 stars as a fun way to memorize math facts rather than just using ...

We had hoped the game would emphasize more math facts at a time, as a fun way to memorize math facts rather than just using flash cards.
Also, seems to have some glitches. It is a fun concept, kids enjoy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Won't Install on my Kindle Fire - Even Though it is "compatible"!
Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2014
I was looking forward to having this on my Fire--my family loved King of Math Junior and we thought this would be just as fun.

Big Disappointment when it would download, but not install on my Fire! While trying several times to install this app, I sent a request for assistance with this app and my request was ignored. So, I guess we won't be playing with this app. Don't waste your money or coins to purchase this app!

5.0 out of 5 stars My 9 year old son loves it and it helps him stay sharp with math!

This game is a great example of an educational game that's a lot of fun to play. I bought it for my 9 yr old son who is a big fan of this developer's Stack the States, Stack the Countries and Presidents vs. Alien games. The developer, Dan Russell-Pinson, has a real gift for creating apps that are educational and that kids love. In the last couple years, I've come to buy every app he makes -- after all, if he makes educational apps my son loves as much as FIFA 14, it's an easy purchase decision for me, especially when each game only cost from around a dollar to a couple dollars. Tower Math was an instant hit with my son. I tried it myself and thought it was a great kids' game, a very fun way of keeping a kid's math skills sharp!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, simple tower defense game
Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2014
I actually found this game to be pretty fun. The math is pretty easy so I think it would be helpful for young children practicing their basic math. There are a set number of spots to build towers on each level, so the only "difficult" thing would be choosing which tower to use. I enjoyed playing this game (although I'm weird and like doing math) and it's good practice for anyone to sharpen their math skills.
