My son has a lot of tablet games but keeps coming back to this one. It's very fun! The sounds grate on my nerves a bit (Baby Margaret crying drives me nuts) but it reinforces potty training concepts very well, and it's apparently quite entertaining.

I have just entered the world of all things Daniel the Tiger and I have to tell you he's amazing. My toddler loves Mr. Rogers yet often she doesn't really "get" Mr Rogers and his crew. She is just over 2.5yo and I find that Daniel (i.e. animated Mr. Rogers) is the perfect age appropriate version of Mr. Rogers and the real Mr. Rogers will be better in about a year. After watching or playing Daniel's apps she sings his songs and tells me about what lessons she has learned. She loves taking Daniel and his friends to the potty then "flush and wash and be on your way!" She also loves helping change Margaret's diaper (she has a baby brother at home so helps with his). she'll say "mama, Margaret needs me! I'm coming Margaret!" It's very cute and I'm so happy she has Daniel in her life to supplement good teachings that she is also getting at home. Yes, the app is repetitive and there isn't a lot more to the app other than potty stuff, BUT my daughter doesn't seem to mind and likes playing it so that is all that matters. It teaches the kid that although playtime is fun, when you have to go then you just stop, go potty (plus all the hygenic steps to take) and when you come back your toys and playtime resume activity.

Educational for the steps of going potty and 3 fun games in between. One character, the baby, has to potty quite often and the cry can almost feel continuous at times. My child doesn’t mind it, so it’s not a big deal. Pretty good buy in my opinion.

Easily one of the best apps on the market for young children

As a teacher of young children, I cannot recommend this app highly enough!
- Game play is simple enough that any child capable of navigating a tablet can play independently: no literacy requirements or weird expectations that demand adult assistance.
- It models both diaper changes and toilet use as normal routines: no shame, no pressure.
- The repetitious nature of the game (play with the characters, take a break when they need to go, use the toilet/change a diaper, and go back to playing) supports the way young children actually learn, and reinforces that taking care of poop can't be avoided.
- The game cheerfully focuses on next steps without being controlling of the player: you can knock sheets off the toilet paper roll forever, even when Daniel or Catarina are asking for a different step. The character just continues to politely request help with the next step they're on anyhow.
- All that, and the songs remain magical. There's even a music video feature with all the bathroom-related jingles!

This whole app is really just as thoughtful as the shows in the franchise. I'm in awe! If you let your 2-4yr old use a screen, they would love this app.

Bought a kindle fire for my grandson. At $69.00 or $79.00 it was a great way for him to to not destroy my I pad or phone. I put about $20.00 in apps before I gave it to him. I was hoping that as a child Kindle, that there were not going to get the ads that interrupt to videos or games. I guess I have to go to Kindle College to get this. But I would really like a child friendly unit that he can see his games or videos, and just end. I'm the one buying the stuff, hook up the link to me and I can decide. The only way he's going to buy stuff is to hit the links by accident. Let me be the decision maker. I'm not afraid to buy stuff thats worth it, Leave him out of it

My 4 year old is stubborn as can be. He knows to go potty, but is a little behind on speech so he's a little behind. This game isn't on google play or anywhere else just Amazon. I didn't check Apple since I don't use my account much anymore without an iPhone. He woke up today wanting to play the potty game! We have a hard time making him stop what he is doing to go potty. He knows, but just won't stop and keeps playing. This $2.99 game is starting to be well worth it for me. Its simple they play games and then they tell you they need to stop playing because they need to go to the potty. It sings the potty song as well which my son always loves Daniel Tiger songs and lessons so very happy with this app. We have all the other apps on his tablets so I was hoping it would be on google play, but didn't see it yet.

Deceptive practices by amazon

This app was previously included with amazon freetime unlimited for kids. My daughter loved it and always played on it. Then today we couldn’t find it and it was nowhere on her freetime account or even through the search. Come to find out this app along with so many others are now apps that amazon chooses to charge customers for in addition to paying for a freetime unlimited subscription. So while the app is great the fact they are removing apps that were previously free and now charging for them is deceptive and bad business practices. I contacted customer service who told me “when you are done using the app you can return it for a refund”. Well that is just ridiculous.
