I downloaded it into my eKindle Fire. it can only take pictures of me, I focus and can only see myself, as in a mirror.
.I don't understand how it can be turned around to take pictures of things IN FRONT of me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality product for one dollar

A very good app, bordering on excellent. I found it very intuitive and was flipping through options after just a few minutes of playing with it. Love the panorama feature, along with the ability to zoom in and out. Effects options seem pretty cool. Found the video function helpful as well, now quite easy to record. The camera is built in the factory facing towards you, not outwards - NOT the app's fault! The interface appears more "slick" in the preview, but all the options are available.

Two concerns:
1. No timer function, which would be very helpful for when you want to jump into the frame before it takes the picture. Seems even more odd that this isn't an option when you consider the video recording has a time delay feature for intervals of stop-motion activity.
2. Could offer a greater range of video recording sizes. A 30-second SD video (not even HD) was close to 45 MB, which is far too large when trying to add as an attachment within a standard e-mail message.

Those issues aside, Instant Camera was an instant hit as far as I am concerned!
