I bought SSH/SFTP Server for my Amazon Fire HD Tablet, thinking that I would be able to use the app for a SFTP client usage. However, the app does only what it says, acts as an SFTP server.
I don't think Amazon stores vet enough products for lower populated devices like the Amazon Fire HD. Sure, there are applications for many different use cases, but as for general purposes like "SFTP client", or something like FileZilla, there are no available clients on the Amazon store to act like such intent. There are other platform apps for SFTP clients like Samsung Galaxy Tablets, but that is a niche market compared to people who attempt to use an ecosystem of similar apps, like the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, iOS, macOS, etc.)
Amazon, please reward your developers on Android apps that perform minimal, general purpose use cases ! There are no SFTP clients for Amazon tablets as of now, and that leaves a void for deserving users that search for minimal use case apps. If I didn't have a Samsung Galaxy tablet, I never would be able to realize a device's full potential for all applications that exist for laptops and desktop devices.
